I cannot begin to explain my disappointment with this salon, where do I begin? I was charged €100 for a bridal upstyle when we had agreed on €65 weeks at hair trial. The upstyle took 2 and half hours, I was told by Audrey that I would be and hour and half 'tops'. This delayed my whole morning of my wedding. They charged me extra for my hair extensions which I was not charged for at my hair trial AND for the extra time that they took to finish my hair. They took this 'extra time' because they spent 40 mins tending to my sister and other customers. They also charged one of my bridesmaids for her hair extensions which again was not agreed. Imagine being hit with an extra €50 for this! Whose going to put up an arguement on their wedding day? She took complete advantage!! They had not even booked my bridemaids in! Which would have been a huge disaster. I had booked the three of us in months in advance. I asked for the salon to be opened early on the morning of my wedding, maybe half hour earlier eg. 9am. I was refused and told they didn't open until 9.30. Then told a few days later they would open at 8.45 for the three of us. I left at 11.15 I was very unhappy about this extra charge (extra time they took! and hair extensions)and the amount of time taken. To which the owner Janine blamed my sister for 'taking too long to decide on her upstyle' and being 'difficult' to work with. Unbelievable attitude for this owner. My sister was surprised they had no images for her to work from, and weren't helpful with suggestions which I find very poor service. Janine does not understand customer service. I phoned three times before Janine phoned me back to air my grievance with her service and she had no interest in apologising or taking any accountability for the issues raised. She simply does not give a toss that it was my wedding day, my memory of me and my two sisters getting our hair done the morning has been ruined by this woman. The salon has a reputation for overpricing and I had heard from a few locals 'she knows how to charge' well she certainly does and doesn't feel one bit of guilt for robbing people blind. I regret using this salon on my wedding day, there are so many other salons who will give you better customer experience. I had my full head of highlights and cut, and extensions cut (which took 20mins) for €100 euro in another local salon, she did an amazing job and she super friendly they also did not charge to cut my extensions, they said they were 'used to it'. Harper's in seriously overpriced with a very rude and arrogant owner.
