Terrible service. Asked for a table for four, given a table and told they would be over with menus. Left 15 minutes later when the tables who arrived after us were getting served before us. And this despite being in the middle of the restaurant with staff moving all around us and actively trying to get attention. It looked like the staff were assigned tables and ignored those who went on their area. Surprised at the condition of the seating/furniture too. Could do with an update.

Interesting and varied menu with very good value and friendly and helpful staff. Quite busy at weekends and service can be a little on the slow side. Overall though this is a very pleasant dining experience. Advance booking recommended.

Ate in the restaurant here. Excellent food, one of the best steaks I have had in a long time, good selection of drinks available. The early bird deal is good value for money.

Nice relaxing atmosphere, with very helpful and friendly staff.

I would come here again if I stayed in Wexford another time in the future.

What a great Wexford institution. Thoroughly enjoyed whole lobster in crab butter sauce. Wine selection and quality is superb. Service was good but not 5-star. Delicatessen next door worth a nosey.

Lovely meal here for a party of 6. Was quiet enough on a Friday evening but the food was perfect. Steak & sides cooked excellently. Prompt service. Nice choice on the drinks menu and for the meal we got the bill was moderate and good value. Nice open athnosphere
