  What a find. All homemade. Chowder was just right. The homemade bread was just baked.

  Unfortunatelly didn't have a good experience. Food just not well prepared at all. The waitress was really nice and receptive but I end up really sick, i had food poisining !! Would like to be able to come back as I heard it is a really tradicional place, but I hope next time for a good meal!! I wouldn't recomend to anybody yet! Let's see next year! ;)

  After reading the reviews , I was looking forward to eat there. Well it was a different experience we got. The food may please the drunken people eating there , but for us it was nothing to rave about . I had the chowder which was basically a fish bouillon with added pieces of fish , no seasoning , no cream , no mussels or shrimps or any veg or herbs , pretty boring looking chowder. My wife had the smoked salmon starter , it was nice , you can't really go wrong there then she had the baked mackerel special , which looked and tasted like it had been boiled rather than baked ! All the taste was gone from the fish , but all the bones were still there . I had the roast lamb , a basic rolled roast , also with very little flavor . All main were served with unseasoned plain carrots and cabbage , and mash. I mean they could make a little effort and taste the food they serve out .Then again they're the only place where you can eat in the area , so why bother ? Won't be back there for sure.

  Best restaurant in town. Good food and akzeptabel prices. Lovely service - fast and friendly. Most times full house. 👍🙂

  One of the best steak sandwiches you can find anywhere. Went back a second day for that and it was even better. Coffee is great too.

  Two great options in this establishment. On one side you have a coffee shop and the other side pub food.
  The most spacious car park I have ever seen outside any business premises

  We where traveling to Keem Beach and came across Gielty's Bar and decided to have a meal there. Great seafood and very friendly staff.
