  Want to learn more about heart health? Interested in a free blood pressure check? Then why not go along to the “Cardiology Suite Open Day” being held at Bon Secours Hospitals Ireland Renmore on Thursday June 21st from 11am to 4pm

  Parking is free and refreshments will be served. There will be talks from our hospital consultant colleagues and members of the Croí Heart & Stroke Charity team

  Did you know one in four of us will need a blood transfusion at some point in our lives? Yet only 3% of us give blood.

  Have you been thinking about giving blood but never got around to it?

  Well good news, this week our friends at Clayton Hotel Galway are holding blood donation clinics with the Irish Blood Transfusion Service. You can simply drop in starting from today Tuesday june 5th from 4.00-7.30, and Wednesday and Thursday from 5.00-8.30.

  The whole process from registering to making your donation should take no more than an hour and a half. Make sure that you have eaten something beforehand.
