If anyone is looking to pursue a career in Public Relations, the Fitzwilliam Institute is a brilliant foot in the door into this intensely competitive industry. After completing the PR & Event Management Postgraduate Diploma, I went on to become an AE in one of Ireland's biggest PR agencies, PSG. After over a year here I have recently moved to become the Brand Communications Manager of Publicis in Dublin, a worldwide Advertising agency. Before I entered Fitzwilliam I was a fresh-faced recent Bachelor's graduate, ensure of what I wanted to do next. I know now that choosing to undergo the Fitzwilliam postgrad was what opened that all important first door for me into the Marketing Industry.

Since 2010, DublinTown have had the pleasure of hosting Digital Marketing, PR and Event Management students from Fitzwilliam Institute Group on work placement. We are responsible for the marketing of Dublin City Centre on behalf of 2,500 businesses and are the creators and organisers of the Dublin Fashion Festival, Dine in Dublin and the Dublin at Christmas campaign which includes many large public events to switch on the city’s Christmas lights. We are a small team so when we take on student interns they get to do real tasks during these important campaigns and events so we need our student interns to be highly trained on their given topics and ready to jump right into executing the campaigns. The Fitzwilliam Institute Group has never failed in sending us capable student interns which I believe comes from the training they receive on their courses. Where possible, we have employed student interns at the end of their placement, some are still with us and others have moved on to excellent positions in other companies and countries.
I am Marketing and Communications Director for DublinTown

I recently completed the Diploma course in Java Programming.
This course was perfect for me, as I could attend the evening classes after my working day and it didn't interfere with my current commitments.
I've gained invaluable modern skills, and as a result I've already gotten an interview with a highly reputable company in the business!
I look forward to a new career and I thank Fitzwilliam for helping me kick start it.

Amazing. I've recently just completed the Diploma in Digital Marketing & Social Media at The Fitzwilliam Institute, Dublin. Over the course of 3 months, I was thought all things Marketing & Social Media and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. From the super intuitive lectures to the location of the Institute, I would highly recommend this course to anybody looking to up-skill in their career or simply to just gain a wealth of knowledge in this booming industry.

I completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Internet Marketing at the Fitzwilliam Institute. The lecturers were very well qualified and able to offer some really valuable insights from their experience in the industry.

After finishing the Diploma I began full time employment in Digital Marketing so I would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of furthering their career or education.

I have just completed the online Diploma in Project Management and it has been a great experience. Coming from a medical background and needing to keep the brain stimulated I decided to try something different and opted this course. Firstly Fitzwilliam Institute were fantastic in all aspects, from communicating information about the course, conducting live consultations, the signing up process and most of all fantastic support throughout the course.
Not having any knowledge about Project Management or never having studied any aspect of management previously, the course was delivered and conducted in a very adaptable way, with excellent course notes and feedback throughout.
Project Management is specialized in its own right, but anyone doing or planning to do this course will learn an array of management skills that are useful and practical in all areas of life and professional development and I would highly recommend this course for anyone who would like to veer into a career in Project Management or someone just like me who was looking for something different away form the morn of our daily career.
While participating in the course I was promoted to a Supervisors position
and firmly believe this was due to me undertaking this course and of the knowledge I had gained from it.
Once again I highly recommend this course
