Everything in this place is wonderful. As parent of smallies I appreciated the Bumba seats for the baby and rounded corners on tables so kids don’t bang their heads. We loved choices of ice cream for kids and adult flavours and the cone were the waffle kind. On second visit we had pizza deal and third visit the crepe meals. Fantastic Flavours is now a Sunday family favourite.

Delighted with Fantastic Flavours Ice Cream
Words fail to describe the food and people at Fantasic Flavours Ice Cream Parlour. The owners are very nice and friendly with the wife speaking fluent German to our guests and making them feel welcome. The décor is delightfully creative and shabby-chic with everything from the jerseys of the local teams they sponsor to a wooden North American Lacrosse stick and antique baseball glove hanging in the window and authentic old posters of Youghal hung on the walls. As for the food? We enjoyed our cheesecakes and cappuccinos while our guests devoured the artisanal ice cream the owners make themselves in the shop. We were so delighted we got a tour of the kitchen and the husband showed us how he made a special batch of Guiness ice cream with chocolate and the aroma was incredible. In all, the décor, friendliness of the owners, cleanliness of the shop, variety of flavours and very good pricing left us all delighted. The owners really understand good service and good food.
Stopped in café while on bus tour. Great ice cream. Many choices. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommend.response / report this review -

love stopping off for a chat and an ice-cream. Great flavour's, clean and child friendly. My little two love it. Stop in if your in Youghal and have a game of Youghaloply while you are there!

We stopped here on our way from Waterford to Cork. Great flavors and texture. Just plain good ice cream. Honeycomb was our favorite. The Trump flavor (toasted marshmallow) was also really good and pretty funny. Also Miceál and his wife were very nice people. Miceál has lived a very interesting life (Army Ranger, politician, international conflict resolution, ice cream). I'm sure he was good at the other things, but he sure knows how to make ice cream.
