Sat at the bar for 15 mins and no one even acknowledged us. Pretty poor service. But the place was busy so I'm assuming it's good. But after being ignored by 4 different people behind the bar we just got up and left which was ok because we made it across the road to creamery bar which has the best pint of Guinness in the area!

Fantastic spot! can be busy with tourist being in a famous area, watch out of parking if you come by car. not ideal for kids strollers or buggies. but they do have high chairs.
Baby changing table is only available in the woman's bathroom (WC)

Great place with exceptional service! The place was packed with tourists and yet everyone waiting were seated quickly and looked after by the manager. The downstairs is kept very much in the the fashion of a very old pub, whereas upstairs has a much lighter dining area.
The food menu is perhaps a little random, combining dishes from across Europe with traditional Irish dishes. However, everything tasted great.

Kudos for all the hard work!

The food was quite good here, the service was friendly, though very slow. It was quite lively with an entertaining interior and some fun live music when we visited. I daresay The Creamery across the street had much better service, though a completely different train thought for the food selection. They were fun and pleasant; Nelly's was irritating. Is there some unspoken rule in Ireland that you have to beg for a bill so you could go get some rest?

Lively pub. Good bartender. Rude waitress has set her tables for tomorrow and wouldn't want to reset them before tomorrow. Which means two forks and two napkins would have to be replaced. Otherwise folks are having fun here.

Stopped off for lunch. Very friendly staff. Had a toasted special. Wasn't the best to be honest. Cheap ham and cheese. Ber had a nice salmon salad.

Great little pub right next to Bunratty Castle. Yes it's a bit of a touristy spot but locals go there too, so you get a mix of both. Good spot to grab a pint and a little food if you're hungry.
