Putting the breakfast in Bed & Breakfast.. We had a lovely stay here. The scrambled eggs and black and white pudding were the best of any B&B I’ve stayed at.

The owners of this beautifully restored home are top notch. So friendly, helpful and kind. Grainne and Paddy are delightful hosts, taking great care to cater to your every need. Breakfast was delightful, healthy and completely homemade. They happily share stories and history of Kinsale. The rooms and bathroom are comfortable, tasteful and up to date. She even irons the sheets!! Staying at Desmond House helped make Kinsale a favorite stop on out trip.

Hands down the best B&B we stayed in during our week long trip across Ireland. Micheal is the host you want to come back and see year after year.

I should also add the breakfast was also great.

This was one of my very favorite stops on our recent trip around Ireland. Kinsale is a lovely spot to enjoy the harbor, the town of Kinsale for shopping, food and history and most of all Desmond House. We so enjoyed the kindness and hospitality and lots of laughs with Michael, the proprietor of Desmond House. His scones and Irish Brown Bread were the best we ate in all of Ireland! Don't miss it! It will be the highlight of your trip!
