  A cut above other Limerick establishments in terms of food, ambience and price. The food is an excellent surf'n'turf menu and there's a range of Irish drinks (including one or two difficult-to-find local products). Well worth the 10-minute walk out of town.

  Lovely spot either casual or dinning out. Top food for a very reasonable price. The pints are lovely too. Fantastic smoking area out back looking over the river Shannon and limerick city.

  Excellent food but a bit pricey. We tried the burger, the wings and the lamb. All were delicious and generous portions. There's a large covered outdoor area with a great view of the castle.

  One of my favorite spots in Limerick. The view from the terrace overlooking the river & King John's Castle is amazing! Equally good for eating or drinking. Would not visit Limerick without stopping in for lunch, dinner or drinks!

  Super attentive and friendly staff. The fish and chips were great, and my kids liked the burger. I found parking in the Strand hotel, not so convenient, but that's all that was left. We ate inside. There's a view of the castle across the river outside.

  Friendly people, and AMAZING food! They will treat you like family whether you are a local or from across the world.

  Beautiful views and fantastic seafood. Very nice restaurant with sun terrace. Mains will set you back 12-25€ and they are very well worth it.

  The seafood chowder here was incredible. Seriously. We compare every meal to it. We actually parked in front of the castle and had our car broken in to while we were eating here and we still agreed it was worth it. We did have to seek someone out to pay our tab, so the service wasn't the greatest, but still 5 stars.
