My son and I have both been to Virginia in the last six months and have found her to be excellent. Of course she is a very skilled practitioner as you would expect, but her dedication, commitment and determination, not just to resolve existing problems, but also address root causes is admirable. It is easy to see that Virginia is invested in achieving the best possible outcomes. When I have mentioned Virginia’s name to friends and colleagues, I’ve been surprise at the number people who also knew her - and every one of them also sang her praises.

Two years ago I fractured 3 lumbar vertebrae and crushed surrounding discs. Pain, hospital, tests, more tests, time allowed for it to heal, physiotherapy, more physiotherapy and on and on. Improved marginally, 18 months later still in extreme pain, very depressing but faking good humour on a daily basis. Clutching handrails to pull myself upstairs, pain regardless of the position in which I stood, sat, slept, lay down, still using one crutch to walk around.
Last August I made an appointment with Virginia and within weeks noticed a difference in the pain levels experienced. Got rid of the crutch, can now sleep without waking up in pain. Still use a walking stick, however it is more as a safety instrument for loose paving slabs and uneven footpaths. I can honestly state that I am very much better as a result of attending Virginia. My quality of life has dramatically improved in a matter of a few months and I am no longer in constant pain.
If you are in pain, this lady is the person to go to as she will give you an honest appraisal of how and if she can be of assistance to you. I do not have the vocabulary to articulate just how grateful I am to Virginia’s healing powers as, since attending her clinic, life is worth living again. Thank you Virginia.

When I first visited Virginia, I had a number of recurring issues resulting in daily discomfort. Over the next couple of months Virginia greatly improved all of these complaints to a point where discomfort is now the exception rather than an everyday occurrence. I would highly recommend a visit to Virginia.

Can't recommend Virginia enough. She's made such a difference for me. I have so much more mobility, even my energy and mood have changed because I'm not in constant pain. Again I highly recommend Dr. Virginia 🙂

I was suffering from lower back pain since I was 14 years old. I had tried multiple treatments (physiotherapy and chiropractic), but nothing seemed to help, as I would always regress after a while. In the end I had sciatica, a numb feeling in my right hand and back pain that made me want to cry almost every single day. When I came to Virginia, I had practically given up on finding a solution to my 13 years of back pain, but she proved me wrong! Virginia is very professional, talks you through the treatment process and is extremely knowledgeable. I have been seeing her for about 10 months now and I am happy to say that my back pain is almost inexistent at this point! I couldn't be happier! Thank you so much for your excellent work, Virginia!

Last February I went on skiing holiday, stood up on skies, lasted 5 mins and there was my week over on the slopes due to lower back problem that got progressively worse over the last few years. My golf was getting worse and I was just putting it down to getting older as could always hit a ball 280 yards and that had come down significantly, never thought about the fact that I could barely touch my knees due to lower back pain.
Went to Virginia last March to investigate what was going on and best decision I've ever made. She started working on my back, within 2 weeks I had full movement around lower back and went from not being able to touch knees to touching the ground with hand flat! Golf swing came back and right back to hitting ball to the 280 yard mark where I should be even at 40 years of age! 6 months on I'm back at the gym 3 nights a week which I hadn't been able to do for years and have dropped 2 stone through being able to train again for last couple of months.
Virginia is a really nice lady who makes you feel right at ease from minute you walk in the door for consultation. I couldn't recommend highly enough and if you are sitting on the fence as to getting treatment which a lot of us do, don't waste any more time and give this lady a call for an appointment, best decision you will make.response / report this review -

Virginia is a lovely lady and an excellent chiropractor. I've had an old back injury of 15 years and after four months I am feeling much better. She is very professional and takes her job and clients very seriously. Love attending.

I hobbled my way into Dr Virginia's clinic all the way from Australia. After a long flight and a week struggling to enjoy the sights of London, I visited Virginia on the recommendation of family here in Ireland. I had significant pain and restricted movements which were really impacting on my long awaited holiday.
Dr Virginia was able to immediately give me relief from my pain, and over the next few days my flexibility and movement returned to my hip joint/leg. A subsequent visit further improved my hip and most certainly my ability to enjoy the rest of our time in this lovely country that is Ireland!
Dr Virginia is very professional and has a very caring and positive manner. She used a combination of the activator method and massage to loosen my hip joint and improve mobility, while also reducing the pain.
I would highly recommend Dr Virginia to anyone who is exploring the option of Chiropractic to manage specific issues and enhance his/her health and well being.

I went to see Dr. Virginia Cantillon for a consultation after suffering with back pain for many years. I have had experiences with other chiropractors but still suffer with pain so when I read reviews and found out she also deals with muscular issues I decided to give her clinic a go, I am beyond thrilled to have found her. We had a consultation, she reviewed my body, my stance, my feet etc and told me she could treat me quite easily. Throughout the the consultation I was made feel completely at ease. The treatment itself took no longer than five minutes. She used the 'Activator Technique' on me. This is a hand held instrument which delivers light and fast thrusts on the affected areas. I felt absolutely no pain. I walked out of the clinic a new person. My back had completely loosened out,no clicking or cracking. Over the coming days I expected my back to seize up again - which it didn't. I went back for a check-up and the difference is amazing, I can't recommend Dr. Virginia enough, she is very personable and hugely knowledgeable. Unlike other chiropractors I have seen, Virginia is interested in correcting spinal joint dysfunction in a quick and efficient manner . I will be recommending Dr. Virginia Cantillon to whomever I can, honestly it's like magic!

After a long number of years with issues with my lower back and neck, I was seen by Virginia who immediately diagnosed what the issues were. From the first session I felt immediate benefits from the treatment. As the nature of the work I do makes me prone to ongoing issues, I have attended the clinic numerous times since. Each session has always been beneficial. Virginia has been very flexible in accomodating my work commitments. She is the ultimate professional and it is easy to discern her commitment to her profession. For anyone considering attending a chiropractor, I would have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Virginia.

I went from being very fit to very unfit over a period of 10-15 years; had some trouble with joints; even after key hole surgery on my knee, I felt out of sync Virginia worked on me from head to toe and I haven’t looked back. I am now more flexible; exercising (albeit low impact); and feeling much better. Virginia provides a professional service; appointments run on schedule (with lots of varying times available to facilitate workers); and she is always in good form! CB (48 year old) CORK.

Virginia is an excellent chiropractor who is approachable, professional and responsive. Virginia takes the extra time to explain things through the use of examples and scans. I've spent the last two years battling with chronic daily pain resulting in numerous visits to Consultants and specialists. Within two weeks of seeking Virginia's services I was on the road to recovery. Virginia's careful examinations and use of a scan machine highlighted my problem areas. Virginia referred me to a specific specialist who was able to provide a diagnosis. Thanks to Virginia's insights and initiative I am able to receive the appropriate care and begin to live my life again.
Virginia goes above and beyond to assist her patients and I would strongly recommend her to anyone.response / report this review
