Very traditional Irish restaurant. The food was amazing and the staff was very nice and friendly as well. Please try that spicy/cheese/garlic bread, its really good. Also recommend the Fish Chowder.

Went do Donaghey's bar with my girlfriend on a Monday night. It was busy when we first went in so had to sit at the bar, which was fine. We received top service and I had a lovely pint of the black stuff. After the bar man recommended a meal called 'the tomahawk' we decided to go for it. This was a beast of a steak with all the trimmings, it nearly sent me into a food coma. The booths were cosy and look like they could sit 5, maybe 6 so I would recommend booking in advance. Top service, top food and a great atmosphere.

Very disappointed, on the surface seemed to be a place that knew what it was doing but unfortunately the food and management let it down. Ordered the " seafood pasta special" which had 1 prawn and some fish with a watery tomato sauce and very tagliatelle looking linguine, so needless to say did not eat it, when we told our waiter about it (who I have to say very good at his job an did try his best t help us out) we then found out that they were going to charge us €25 which we did not agree with, for obvious reasons. When the manager finally decided to come and speak to us, it was made very clear that we were not being listened to and basically told tuff that's the way the chef makes it, so good luck to ya. Will most definitely NOT be coming back.

My sister brought me here , she lives in sligo. It's excellent. Food is fantastic. Had seafood chowder and steak. Their homemade bread is great. Excellent . Friendly staff. Recommend that you try this place when in sligo.

Had a fantastic meal here one Sat night. I had potted crab to start and clams and mussels as my main-other half had steak and was well impressed. Cheese board finished off what was a very pleasant night. Loved the atmosphere and quaint decor

Happened to be in Sligo last weekend and Coach Lane had been recommended. Beautiful food, excellent staff - friendly and attentive - great atmosphere. Perfect place for a night out. Don't miss it if you are in Sligo. Just wish Coach Lane was in my town
