  Go on dry weather (if possible) the path gets very hard to walk on and you will sink in layers of mud if its wet. So advised to wear good, old shoes, just in case. On a clear day the view from the top cross is amazing and is stretching over the entire valley, Valentia Island and the ocean, as far as the eyes can see. The hike is mild difficult, is constant steep so great for cardio.

  I climed up Cnoc na dTobar Pilgrim Path in August 2015. It is a uniqe experience
  
  When you reach towards the top of Cnoc na dTobar you have breathtaking views towards Dingle Peninsula and towards the Skelligs.
  
  From my Point of view it is a MUST, also it is not easy to walk this Pilgrim Path.
