This sweet spot is just amazing! During our honey moon this was really our favorite place —> horribly windy
    —> gently breathtaking
    —> lovely enjoyable

It’s quite a bit dangerous to left the official path but worthy to discover. One spot is so windy that you really have to take care about you stuff. One women has loosen her iPhone in a raincoat! So take care and discover!!!

The cliffs! An absolute must-see for Ireland and for a good reason. Insanely beautiful views everywhere. The ocean view and surrounding countryside is so picturesque. So glad this was part of our itinerary. The only warning I have is that the road leading to it is extremely narrow and winding. Worth all of it though.

No doubt the vistas are gorgeous, but I have to agree with one person who called it a tourist trap. So much of Ireland is so unspoiled and preserved, and there are so many areas where you can drive along the coast and see pristine scenery that I found this a little over-touted. We drove an hour and a half from Limerick and spent half a day of our trip to see this. If it's on your way, don't miss it, but my recommendation is think twice before driving TOO far. I'm giving it a 4 because it's very beautiful and just didn't feel right to give it a 3.

You can't go wrong. The price is reasonable, 💰 you're really just paying to park. The visitor's center was nice; we bought some stuff and even had breakfast there. 🚶 The main walking area is walled off for safety but there are other outlying areas you can still get to if you're daring. Awesome time there. 😁

Clearly a highlight of tourist attractions in Ireland, the Cliffs of Moher are a true natural wonder to be sure. Spellbinding, pictures-don't-do-it-justice style sights are the obvious draw for this place. If you go, it will probably be busy. And windy. And scary if you are even SLIGHTLY afraid of heights. The path is railed for the first 10% or so of the site, both the one leading up to the ruins of a church and the one following the cliff edge. Afterwards, you're on your own and it's truly a life or death danger if you don't heed the warnings to stay away from the edge.

To me, it was thrilling and exhilarating to walk so close to a massive drop while the wind blows upwards of 50mph. Others were not so adventurous and therefore followed a more inland path around the ridge. If you do crave the adrenaline, you're welcome to walk close to the edge but the signs clearly demand that you do not put your life at risk/do not tread ON the edge as the rock can fall away without warning.

The visitor's center is decent and has a nice selection of food and drink, AV presentation, and museum/exhibits providing info about the site. Honestly though, it's better experienced viscerally than read about. A few shops dot the entrance, as well as a meditation room (which I really appreciated) that contained a morbid amount of suicide prevention materials.

Anyway, this place truly deserves the adjective "awesome". You will be struck by the grandness in a way that isn't just hyperbole, it's tangible and deserving.

Amazing and the best in Ireland. The one I didn't like is they taking an entry fees as there are no gate to enter. We had a car so when we went to park it they asked for € 24 because were 4. If I dropped my friends before the parking site, no one will ask them for the ticket. I saw some people did like this. They may were familiar with the place. Anyway the place was amazing and worth to visit. If you are in Ireland you should visit it.

One in a lifetime experience, outstanding natural beauty and amazing vista of the cliffs and caves from the viewing areas. Beware that some of the paths are unprotected (no boundaries), and walking past the designated viewing zone area is at own risk! Be very sure of your footing, and strong gusting winds. Some visitors foolishly venture even further away from the tracks, despite warnings of recent cliff collapses, muddy and loose ground. Enjoy responsibly!

The cliffs are such a special place! Insider tip: visit the park after the visitors center closes (for us that was 7pm in September). You will not have access to any of the facilities (center, shops, bathrooms) but it will be free and much less crowded. The view at sunset is INCREDIBLE!!

One of the most visited attraction in Ireland. It has an informative visitor centre, cafes, and car parking. The viewing points are very accessible so anyone can enjoy the beautiful views. In some areas you can easily get to the edge of the cliffs, and it is not rare to spot some people taking unnecessary risks for a photo, despite of all the waring signs.
Weather conditions will determine if you will affect your trip. Alway bring a good rain coat!

Fantastic view. Don't bother with boat trip, we did that first expecting it to provide better views and show the full scale of the cliffs but you just don't get close enough. Much better to simply walk along the top. Definitely bring a pair of binoculars with you to enjoy the view and try to spot some puffins.

Majestic, magnificent creation of mother nature. The walk is very pleasant although some folks try to be a little more adventurous. Do try to stay within the area marked as safe zone for walking. We also did a boat tour to the bottom of the cliffs. A fun day trip from Dublin!

Ireland's premier tourist attraction with 1.5 million visitors per year.
    Stunning cliff and sea views
This review is based on how and when is best to visit.
Early morning between 9am and 10.30am or late evening open till 9pm in the summer season.
Every tour bus in Ireland comes via the Cliffs of Moher so if you get your timing wrong be prepared to stay in line.
Most definitely well worth a visit. Anything from 1.5 hours to half a day depending on your inkling for some physical walking.
Great facilities on site and very helpful staff.

The view from the left and right side are fantastic and if you're lucky you might see some penguins!
To visit absolutely everything give this stop about half a day.
Dont forget to bring a good pair of shoes!

If you do not make this a stop during your trip to visit the Emerald Isle, you haven't really experienced the beauty that it can deliver. An amazing geological feature, it is also a great place to take a stroll, take some pictures and propose to your future wife (I proposed here). The view is absolutely spectacular. Plan to spend a couple of hours here because the trails are long and can be rather steep at times, and this way you can experience the museum in full.
