The Church of the Assumption or "Bride Street Church", is one of the "Twin Church of Wexford", located in the corner of Bride Street & Saint Joseph Street. The exterior church architecture is of late Georgian Gothic style & is the same as "Rowe Street Church". The last time we visited these churches was June 2016. The church interior is equally impressive as the "Rowe Street Church". It has also numerous Holy Images & beautiful stained glass windows. The main altar has a modern & simple style. The right side altar is dedicated to the Holy Family & behind is the stained glass of Our Mother of Perpetual Help (Succore). There are also numerous things to see, admire & to meditate on. The left side altar is for adoration of the Holy Sacrament & beside the altar is the door to the Sacristy. Beside the Church is the Convent of Perpetual Adoration founded in 1875. If one parks inside the church parking area, remember to have coins with you, because one has to pay at exit with coin.

Lovely church. Attended mass this morning and it was a pleasant service with a good homily. Choir sang and did a nice job.
