There's a great market on the last Sunday of every month that has a plethora of stalls selling food and crafted goods, very popular place to walk dogs too

Castletown House and gardens are beautiful. Great for long walks. Nice cafe in the house with excellent scones. Possibly the only beach along the Liffey? Highly recommended.

Beautiful walking grounds with a man made duck and swan pond, a lovely river walk, a coffee shop with seating inside and out, a few benches would be nice around the pond .

Fantastic place to walk the dog with woods, open fields and also the Liffey running through. Lots of friendly dogs and owners.
Just some feed back for the cafe. I'd love a cuppa after walking the dog. If I could tie him up in the court yard where I could see him while ordering, I'd have a cuppas all the time. The area outside of the windows where you order has a locked gate and also a sign saying no dogs allowed in that area. Even if it's just for the winter months where I'd say the majority of users here are dog walkers, would it be possible to let us through the gate.
