A real gem of a restaurant, the food is to die for and the staff are just as good as the food. Really worth a visit, and then you will be hooked.

Chef and owner are lovely and well experienced in the trade. The food is always very good considering how cheap the place is and the waiters and waitresses are lovely. I never go as often as I want but that's just the way it is

Used to be aquarium years ago, now Captain House for a good few years. Owned and run by two very nice Turkish guys. Excellent excellent, excellent. Great atmosphere, superb food,(steaks and fish to die for! ) polite staff, great value for the quality and standard of food. will be here again and again and again. Top notch, if Heineken did restaurants this would be one of them.!

Second worst place I've eaten in. The starter, fried calamari rings, was cold with soggy salad, not even enough for two people sharing, which I told the waitress we would be. The main course, a vegetarian pasta dish, came lukewarm. The vegetables were too thick cut and they overpowered the pasta. I asked for black pepper, and the waitress brought the typical massive pepper mill, but she was very scarce with it. I gave the place one star for very good cappuccino, "homemade" fries which slices were nearly the size of my hand, and cleanliness. Oh and if you are an animal rights supporter, don't think about going in. The decent sized catfish looked unhappy trapped in a narrow fish tank along with other 4 large fish. The poor things weren't even trying to swim much due to overcrowding.

The food is always delicious and the staff are extremely courteous, it's hard to explain but even though your sitting in a full restaurant it feels like your the only ones there.

Top of our Dublin/Guiness/Tullamore trip - amazing service, great steaks, cakes and starters. Perfect atmosphere. Love this restaurant.

Cute little spot in town, food was unreal good, the duck and the steak were cooked to perfection. Staff was superb; adept, consistent, and friendly. And whoever was in charge of the music was on point, loads of romantic classics and quality tunes for a perfect date night.
