A wonderful menu choice, only problem is which dish to have! The food is so well prepared and the staff are very friendly and attentive. It has the ambiance of a warm old Irish country bar and an interesting history toobut with 21st century standards. My wife and I enjoy regular meals now to this very fine location.

Visited last weekend and as busy could only get a sitting in the snug. A sign that they were busy. Sea Bass had a lot bones which was a little a little disconcerting but all in all food was good. Slight delay between servings but not a Hugh delay. Staff very nice and friendly. Definitely wud go back

Beautiful hotel with newly refurbished rooms. Got a lovely breakfast and the staff were very pleasant. Would not hesitate to stay again

Ordered mussels and when they arrived smell was so strong that my young daughter noticed straight away across the table. They were clearly off and should never been served in this obvious state. I called the waiter/bar manager and he took it back but never offered an apology. I understand mistakes can happen but it would be nice if professionals in this industry own up to it and apologise. I then ordered fish and chips and yes there wasn't a bad smell this time but it was underwhelming to say the least. I paid for my fish and chips and again no apologies. This experience makes me think that they don't really care about maintaining standards and for that reason I would be hard pressed to eat in there again. Sorry I never before wrote a bad review about anyone but this time I really felt I should do it and hope it will bring some positive change.
