The 248 Cork - Glenville was 20 minutes late so the bus station hired a minivan to carry out the route. Great service

Convenient location with good lighting and security personnel. Clearly labeled bus routes. Live ticket purchases limited, vending access 24 hours, ma hine does accept credit cards but not €50 bills. 2 food vendors onsite for snacks. Walk to train station and all shopping. Free wifi.

So far bus éireann is on a strike due to bad planning in buying buses, they asked me for my email for booking as well

It's a bus station, small cafe stall inside, ticket information desks and machine and a luggage desk. It's also usually frequented by some of the undesirables of the city and the bathrooms are best avoided.

The bus station itself is filthy. The buses at unreliable due to both poor maintenance and poor scheduling.

The current quality of the buses wouldn't be acceptable even if it were 1995. Most of them are without any air conditioning, some are so damaged rain gets in. Service to the airport business park can't even fit the number of people. The "second bus" sometimes doesn't even stop because the driver decided people should have gotten the first one. Service in town is too weak. Unacceptable that UCC has a bus every half an hour. Every city has developed an easy smartphone app to have live updates (real ones, no estimated from the never-real timetables) per each stop. Cork of course does not. This is a big lost opportunity.
Price: not even the biggest bus line would be that expensive. Cork bus network is so poor it should be AT LEAST half the price (for the leap card).
And not to mention some rude drivers every once in a while.
    Overall: embarrassing.
