Beautiful structures! 3euro an adult 2 if your a student! :]
Great views, and great history! We were late in the day and I was surprised they were still open.
Wonderful chance to view the beehive huts here, really interesting history behind these
Nichts wirklich zu sehen, für den Preis.
This little cluster is well preserved and fascinating. Not much info, and little cost, about 3 euro. You walk up a short, but rather steep path.
Interesting due to the structures in the fort, the huts themselves and how they were made.
I was first here in 1989 and returned again in 2015. I had hoped that the woman who was running the place in 1989 would still be there. Sadly she had passed away some eight years before.
However, her son, a retired construction worker, had retired and built a home nearby. He now runs the place part time with his brother.
It is well worth the two or three euros, depending on how they feel, to walk up and see these wonderful old structures.
Although the government owns the beehive themselves, they do not have any access. Years of negotiating with the current owner's mom failed move her to give the government the right-of-way. It provides a small but steady income to a wonderful family.
