Myself and my partner had Sunday lunch here today, and unfortunately it was not good. My deep fried brie starter was lukewarm on the outside and cold in the centre, I specifically asked to substitute the mashed potatoes with my turkey and ham mains for just roast potatoes, when my mains arrived it was turkey and bacon not ham ( bacon was one of the other mains options on the day) it was accompanied by very overcooked carrots and sprouts neither of which had any flavour ,the stuffing was unfortunately the same there appeared to be little or no herbs or onion in it. My partner had the fish and chips and found the fish way overcooked , the batter was way too dark and hard and thick not what he expected at all. We had been longing to try austies for a long time based on its great reviews so travelled some distance to get there unfortunately we're sorry we bothered now.

Great restaurant! We stopped by for burgers which were delicious. Rest of the guests seamed very satisfied from their dishes as well - veg / seafood (lots of choices) / meat. Nice atmosphere and amazing service - quick and always with a smile.

We had a really beautiful meal in Austies this evening and even though we were late to book a table the staff were so helpful and got us a table in the bar. We will certainly be back next time we're in the area and would highly recommend it. The pineapple and lime posset was divine! Thanks!

What a fantastic place. The service, the quality of the food and the friendly locals were all brilliant. Lorna and the staff were warm and genuine and they couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. With a group that included a vegetarian, a vegan and a gluten free they were able to cater to all our different needs with ease and the staff were very knowledgeable about the menu. Our food was outstanding, high quality ingredients done to perfection (highly recommend the pizza with black pudding 5*) We were absolutely blown away with the friendliness of everyone we encountered and are leaving Rosses Point with so many fantastic memories. Only open Thursday to Sunday. Not a big menu but what we had was lovely and we will go back. Would recommend the chicken wings best I had in a long time. Nice views and plenty of parking on the road.

The staff were amazing and couldn't have done enough for us. Service was impeccable and they managed to squeeze us in with no reservation on a very busy night.

Lovely setting. In the sun, it's great outside, otherwise the front bar is nice and cosy. If you're eating, then there are 2 larger areas with good quick service and good bar food.
