Solas did my main entrance gate, side gate and recently a swing set for the kids.
They are a very professional outfit and the quality of their product and finish is exceptional.

Very disappointing. Ordered and had installed custom gates from this guy. Metal has fractured and wood has swelled. The gates look so poor now and will need further repairs. After multiple attempts at contact Aurie now claims he is out of business and thereore has no further obligation to customers. This is clearly untrue.
Avoid this business/individual
Update - in response to the below response claiming no knowledge of the gates etc. I would urge people to view the photos I have attached. It should clear up the matter quite quickly. I repeat again - avoidresponse / report this review -

Bought gates from Aurie and spent a lot of money on them. 2 years later the welding on them snapped because the wood wasn't treated correctly and swelled after getting wet. Asked Aurie to fix them and he told us he was gone out of business but yet still seems to be trading!!! Had to get someone else in to re-set the gates in concrete, re-inforce the hinges, treat the wood, cut it down to leave room for swelling and re-weld the metal! Absolutely appalling was to treat customers.
