  Beautiful country guest house. Staying in the carriage house behind the main house. We were warmly greeted upon arrival by Miss Marple (their black lab). The carriage house is cozy and modern yet still has the country charm with the stone walls. Matt is a wonderful host and we will surely stay again when we return to the Longford area.

  Close to town. Remarkable modernization of historic carriage house. First class ! Great host with great food, scones that would win awards. Phone direct for best booking information and rates. Very impressive.

  We spent a lovely few days at the Coach House at Augherea in July this year. Matt and Nora were wonderful hosts and provided lots of advice concerning local attractions and things to do. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were outstanding! The surrounding countryside is beautiful and full of history. Augherea was a terrific base for this part of central Ireland.
  
  The Coach House at Augherea is a modern and very comfortable conversion in this superb location. Our room overlooked a lovely walled garden with two magnificent mature trees.
  
  Matt and Nora have also done a fabulous job with the main historic Georgian house at Augherea.
  
  We strongly recommend Augherea at Longford, to others.
