Lovely friendly helpful hosts, stunning location with bay views all round. 3km fom pier but plenty of lifts available. All the home comforts, hard to tell who's a guest or who's family! Iontach ar fad.

I am very sorry my fone died when i was sending this . We stayed here for a week this place is a piece of heaven i wish i could stay. Clodagh is wonderful do anything for u. They breakfast better than at home.5 stars not enought.

While this guest house might be a bit further out than others, the Bean an Ti - Clodagh, did everything to ensure we had easy access to all the amenities. The relaxed easy pace meant we were never rushed and nothing was a problem. She took us through all options, from walking, bicycles, tours and eating. When we went out in the evening there were plenty of options for transport, either with a drop off to the village or a pick up from one of the reasonably priced local taxis. If you happen to take the plane rather than the boat to the islands, then you will find Ard Einne across the road. The rooms were clean and cosy and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Would highly recommend all round!

I visited quite some time ago. The GPS led me to the wrong place. Miles up a hill in fact. I was stopped by a suspicious farmer in a 4 by 4 at one point. Which is never good. Maybe he feared for his sheep. He was very helpful. He asked me where I was going and he told me I was going the wrong way and drove off.I had to call the nice lady to pick me up. She couldn't find me as I could not find the meeting point. She drove for ages and found me eventually. Don't think she was to impressed. I got blisters from all the walking. Aside from that it was a grand stay. I got on to Google and they adjusted the GPS marker. It's in the right place now. The end. PS they have some wierd father Ted event every year. They all Dress up as priests. It's different. Very.

Stayed here in June 2015 as part of a family group of six. The guesthouse is on a quieter side of the island and not within easy walking distance of pubs or restaurants (we walked from Kilronan to the guesthouse after dinner, but wouldn't have made the trek back for a drink). It is relatively close to several beautiful and less-trafficked destinations on this side of the island (check out Cil Einne within sight of the house, Teampall Brecan, even just wandering along the cost and seeing the cliffs of Inis Meain). The owner is lovely--she switched rooms to accommodate my dad's mobility issues, helped us with walk routes and a tour bus, and provided a fantastic breakfast! Not a fancy location or house, but a relaxing, quiet place to rest your head for a few nights.
