Go grab a bargain! Of course, I'm going to be bias because the ARTBANK Bunclody have hung a few of my digital paintings and I helped them set up their web presence. But their membership and commission rates are very low for what they offer local artists in exposure and the ARTBANK seem keen to take on exhibitions. (They are a non-profit and volunteer organisation - incredible for the service they deliver!) I know they run a number of workshops during the week too, and from what I've seen on Facebook they do a sterling job of them.
The ARTBANK's aim seems modest: to promote creativity. But most of all they need our support to continue to build their footprint for the creatives of Wexford, Wicklow, Kilkenny and Carlow. Pop by - take a seat - take a look and have a chat. They're a friendly bunch.
There are many stunning creative works in the gallery - and not all of them are paintings; hand painted and printed postcards, celebration cards, wood turning, carving, sculptures, jewellery, candlesthey've got the lot if you are stuck for ideas for presents? I saw items range from €1 to near €3,000 and there's an online store opening soon, too. The ARTBANK is buzzing!response / report this review
