Ardmore Round Tower is a great example of towers from this period. Its on your right hand side as you enter Ardmore Village. Housed in the same grounds is St Declan's Monastery and cemetery. Its a nice opportunity to get some pictures of a time period we seldom reflect on. How they built structures without the help of modern building techniques is hard to work out. One way or the other is a nice place to visit and to reflect on how simple life was when people believed in a God and not in mankind's own ability to explain our beginning, our purpose and our end. If you like to take photos this will provide you with plenty of shots. Enjoy

Un des plus vieux vestiges chrétiens d'Irlande. A visiter si vous logez pas loin car elle a son charme mais on en fait assez vite le tour.
