  It is very interesting to see if you haven't done it before. I have to admit that it did pale into insignificance today having just done the Mountain Climb Trek and walk through this area. I did come 2 years ago and see the black lava and was fascinated by it all then and the stories. This time to be honest it seemed simply like something you look at it as you go past.

  The road is a true nightmare
  If your car is not in perfect conditions you will never come back up that street
  Dangerous and tombe avoided
  The trucks coming down the road are some are nice others with the obvious reason that they can not stop they simply point at you

  When you are around, stop by. There are place to look around. This place is where the last time Mt. batur exploded and the lava flowed.
