Massage is very good but the shower is extremely hot and cold sometimes.
I had the neck and shoulder massage (30min) which was very relaxing and the masseur was professional. The scenery is agréable and the prices are very competitive. The usage of perfume to keep mosquitoes away is quite strong but that seem to be the case everywhere in Ubud
The quality spa and the price is cheap and worth
What a treat!!!! I have had several massages, a body scrub and a facial here, and all were delightful. Highly recommended.
Had a good spa and massage but was not special for the price
Would NOT recommend this spa. I ended up walking out of an hour massage half an hour in, it was that bad. The therapists are very under experienced in any movements other than dry poking the wrong pressure points.
Don't waste your money
Not recommending! Good decor but smelly bed and the masseur was not so professional. I felt it's just about business not about therapy.
Lovely environment and masseurs with great technique - soothing out all the aches & knots. Value for money !
Inconsistent strength of the masseuse. And they were still too hard for my Girlfriend despite her telling them to be softer.
Hands down the worst spa I've ever been to. I've never been excited for a massage to end. The masseuse's phone rang in the message and she left the room to answer it. Her technique was uncomfortable and unrelaxing. She would use my back as a lever to lift herself onto the bed to the point that one side of my back was sore from that. I felt knotted and unaligned after the message despite feeling comfortable before it. The shower didn't have hot water and while I was in the shower, women opened the door to the room two separate times in 3 minutes. Everyone working there seemed anxious and stressed.
I requested the 45 minute pedicure and the lady came 15 minutes late and then only worked on me for 20 mins. The lady did one foot very well and barely touched the other foot so now I literally have one soft foot and one rough foot.
As this was the most expensive spa I've been to in Bali, I found it astounding that such a poorly managed and poorly staffed place can stay in business. Alternatively, I very much enjoyed my massage at Milano and it was cheaper.
Really good value. Walked in and got couples 90 min massage for $19 CAD each. Enjoyed it. Nice setting and quite clean. Peaceful. I would go back and recommend this to anyone on a budget who wants to relax.
Foot massage was wayyyy better than neck and shoulder massage. The masseur only was comfortable with firm long strokes no matter how often I asked her for harder strokes or pressure points. But if you like that kind of massage, you will be ok. Place was a little run down tho. And boy, did she slap on the oil. Even after two showers, I still feel sticky.
Nice and professional workers. The complete massage full body in "hard" style are soo good!! One hour!!
Best spa in Ubud so far. I have tried six different spas in Ubud in this price-range (€10-20 for a treatment) during my stay (Feb 2016) and this one has been consistently the best.
Staff is very professional and friendly. The setting (every room has an opening to the water-garden) is very relaxing and the interior is like a wonderfully trippy 70's James Bond wonderland, which is very refreshing compared to the common spa-interiors.
Try it: you will not be disappointed!
Facilities are old. But the spa is not very bad. Andmaybe I can't say discrimination. But they have different attitudes towards Chinese.
Quaint little massage spa down the same street as Yoga Barn. Clean, friendly and inexpensive. Massages and hair cream treatments are pretty good. Soaking tub in the private rooms overlooking all of the lush garden are relaxing. I think the best part oddly is turning the corner from the lobby and heading towards the treatment rooms and laying your eyes on the beautiful and surprising stone passageway.
Really great staff and relaxing scenery
Good Spa
