  This traditional market is the heart beat of Piyungan Sub-District. It can be easily seen from Jogja-Wonosari Road with its green-dominated wall. The building is actually new, built around 2010, as the old place (closer to the intersection with traffic lamps to the east) were ruined with the great earthquake of 2006 that shook the entire DI Yogyakarta province.
