THIS is an awesome place to stay. The host is super friendly so we felt at home instantly. The beds are cosy and our bathroom was one of the best we had in Bali so far. We can definitely recommend the local tour with Ibu Jeru through the ricefields and to the local coffeefarmer! Also ask her for Dadar Gulung, the green pancakes with grated coconut and palm sugar. They are super delicious and maybe she will show you how to make them. We stayed for 3 nights and will come back for sure. Terima kasi from Germany!

Very good views and helpful staff. Little bit isolated so will mostly have to eat at the villa where food is 'ok'. Stayed here for 3 nights. In Banyuatis it is difficult to rent a motorbike.

Op onze reis van het rustige noordwesten van Bali naar het drukke zuiden, hielden we halt in Munduk. De homestay ligt temidden van de rijstvelden. Het is heerlijk vertoeven op het verhoogde terras, vanwaar je de klok rond een fantastisch uitzicht hebt op de omgeving. Alles verloopt in een relaxte, familiale sfeer. Er wordt eenvoudig en lekker gekookt.
Maak zeker een wandeling door het dorp en naar de waterval.
Van hieruit kan je de rijstvelden van Jatiluwih bezoeken en het Bratanmeer met z'n leuke tempel. Mariu en z'n zoon Darga voerden ons, en buiten de nogal assertieve rijstijl verliep dat prima.response / report this review -
