Good food with unique ingredients
One of legendary restaurant at gunung kidul, lot of variety of traditional food. This menu consisted of delicate red rice combined with the hot, spicy green chili tempeh soup. "Sayur" Lombok Ijo is made from one piece of tempeh and a large green chili cooked with coconut milk. It is served with various dishes such as fried tempe, fried chicken, papaya-leaf gudeg, trancam, oseng tempe, empal bacem (javanese style sweet fried beef), fried fish (silver rasbora), and sambal
The dish is originally coming from Gunungkidul, the eastern part of Yogyakarta city, where the red rice is produced with "Gogo" (planting system on dry land and/low rainfall).
Good food, big dining space, yet limited parking lot and quite high-priced.
Nice food, but quite pricey here..
Don't forget to look at the price before ordering
Love their "sayur lombok ijo" (green hot chillies & tempe cooked in coconut milk) and "gudheg daun pepaya" (papaya leaf dish). A bit pricy for local food, but def worth a visit or two.
The legendary restaurant, have great and delicious taste of all food. Mr. President Joko Widodo ever been lunch in this place
Local traditional foods
Good food, red rice
Kind of home made food. Just too expensive for a local food, maybe because of Jokowi ever been there (I can say because they hang the picture sooo big there lol). The taste ok
Local food restaurant
Well, actually I don't like this type of rise. But, if you're looking for healthy option, this will be good option.
I dare you to eat fried grasshopper here :)
Mixed rice food with medium price
Free Range chicken is deliciously cooked with red rice side order
Hearty meals. Serve "dangerous" food-for-fun.
