"Nasi Brongkos" is a typical cuisine from Demak Regency. Brongkos is a dish that became a morning.

It's my first time to taste it, it becomes one of the best Jogja's culinary according to google hahaha, that's why I come here. It's tasty but too sweet for me, because I'm into spicy foods actually, so I ask for some condiment, and it tastes even better. The place is not hard to find, you just have to follow the maps. For the price, it's not that cheap but still ok.

Brongkos is traditonal food from Java. Similar to rawon (also use "kluwek") but use coconut milk. Usually consist tofu, kacang tolo (similar to black-eye pea) and tetelan/koyor (fatty portion of meat), boiled egg and shrimp cracker. Tasty and spicy, good and refreshing ice tea.

Located at the left street corner of "Alun-alun Kidul" if you come from the "Plengkung Gading". Quiet old restaurant, there's some long table and chairs. A little bit dirty and smelly, need to maintain. Nasi Brongkos is the main menu of this restaurant, but you can also order for Nasi Soto. Price still affordable, but the taste was not so special; below my expectation.

Brongkos was great, the meat is so tender, juicy and not over seasoning.

Their Brongkos Menu is very good, we can choose egg, chicken or meat as its content. The price is very reasonable. But they must increase the cleanliness and tidiness..

Nice local place for breakfast, popular with the locals. cheap and good taste.. I would recommend the brongkos koyor, various choices of nasi campur, soto, telor asin, ayam kampung bakar.. it's a warung, so don't expect too much on cleanliness

Brongkos is one of (if I may say) traditional Jogjanese dishes. There are several kinds of brongkos but my fave is brongkos koyor; small chunck of meat and fat is cooked in sweet coconut milk broth and black nut (Javanese: keluak).

Beside brongkps koyor, this small eatery also sells brongkos telur (egg) as well as pecel, another traditional Javanese dish
