Great place to have a nice and fresh meal. Wayan is such a friendly host. Can definitely recommend it and will come next time again

We had such a great time at the warung forest. The owner Wayan was very nice he told us a lot of the island he speaks excellent English. Delicious food at a great price. The place itself is wonderful. Don't miss this place when you on the island! Thank you Wayan we will come back!

Very cosy small place (2tables). The host was very nice and told us a lot about the island. The food was delicious. Do yourself a favour and park your scooter when the rocky footpath starts, it's not far (although riding right down is also possible).

Great little (1 table!) restaurant a stone's throw away from the main road on the quieter east side of the island. Park your scooter and follow the colourful signs on the steep rising footpath. You will enter the small family compound, just follow the path and have a seat!
Owner opend this place six months ago, this restaurant used to be called 'meriam' little bit further up the road. Owner is so friendly, eager to help and tell everything about his life and restaurant. His wife cooks the delicious meals. Their animals walking around you.

Lovely little spot up in the village, not far from the main road. Great 🍳, friendly conversation and a nice opportunity for tourists to meet some locals in their own homes. Like Nusa Penida generally. 5 stars.

This is a very nice traditional warung. Very quiet, perfect to end the day there. The food was delicious and the location is very different compared to the usual tourist places. We are always looking for places like this, it was another good and authentic experience. The owner is a very friendly person and told us a bit about life on the island.
