Nice place with authentic decorations.
The price is a bit high for the local food, but it is quite worth it.
If you are looking for the original local food, I can say this place is a good choice.
The menu totally reminds me of my childhood memories back then.
Just try.
Worth it.
I got recommendation from Adhistana receiptionist - they said this spot has good taste of local food. Proven! At least from their nasi campur and pecel - so so so tasty and yummy. Damn good! Pick nasi campur with ox tongue - moouutthh watering 🤤
The waitres said we must try their bubur duren which showed in AADC 2 - we got it after second attempt, so so, the durian it self is not too strong.
We had great dinner here. Me & my wife surely will come again.
You should try SAYUR LODEH. Even though the looks not so pretty, but the taste OH MY GOD! So yuuummm yummmm!
This shop offers Indonesian cuisine such as Nasi Campur, pecel, brongkos, etc. Tasted delicious even abit pricey. It has vintage Javanese architecture and ambient though. Good for group or family. No accessible entrance for wheelchair.
Must try menu: Nasi Campur Bu Ageng. Complete dish of rice, veggie, spicy potato, and your choice of meat. The dish nuances is savory & sweet.
I love this place. The food is truly originally home-made by the ancient style of Javanese culinary. This place also has its vintage ambience on breathtaking Javanese architecture instead of modernism
Try indonesian traditional food here!! Recommended place.. the taste is great.. the spicy chicken really make my day.. 😂.
This place was recommended by lonely planet and I wasn't that impressed by their offerings. I've had much better nasi campur and the fish curry was only average. Price seemed reasonable for the quality of the establishment. Staff was extremely friendly and service was great. They take credit cards.
Offers many delicious Indonesia cuisine. The menu is quite various, the price is pretty much affordable for a fine dining experience. The ambience is very relaxing and rich of Javanese touch.
Worth to try even if you have to wait the food like an hour (occasionally, only on high season) if you want to taste traditional Yogya homemade cuisine. Special food !
Delicious "street food". We tried a number of dishes in the menu and they were all tasty.
Nice place nice food
Great food, okayish parking spots, nice setting and layout, maaaybe a bit pricey for students though.
Foods are great! Nice traditional eating place
Good food and great price. Love the sayur lodeh and nasi campur paru.
Best home made food, cozy place, friendly staff
Nice ambience. The people worked there is very friendly. The food is delicious.
Warung advised by lonely planet. Only tourists in it when we arrive so we decided to go somewhere else. Can't judge the food nor the service but definitely not a place to go if you want look for locals.
Nice food. Small portion but enough.
Good ambiance , helpfull stuff to let us know what is good.
Even though the portion was quite small, however the price is reasonable with its taste.
Do NOT recommend this place. The food not tasty, found a hair in the soup, had to wait for a long time. There are so many better and authentic places in Jogja than this one.
The Made's Warung of Jogja. Hip and atmospheric. Popular with the expat and foreign tourist set. Small portions of home styled Javanese cooking. The durian bread pudding is a hit. Owned by a celebrity journalist I think. Has a wall of well sketched portraits of Politicians Writers and media stars.
Highly recommended. After this head opposite for Jogja's local cocoa!
Must try smoked catfish and lodeh. Homy n quite zone Feel like home
Traditional javanese food is available and Kambing Bacem is highly recommended. The price is a bit high for Jogja standard but understandable for their target market. The portion is on the small side so order extra if you want to. The interior is classic javanese limasan style.
Friendly staff, food correct, toilets clean
It is the right place to enjoy tasty and delicious authentic Indonesian cuisine! I honestly did not expect that, but after a first sip of my Sayur Lodeh soup, I knew that I will be eating a lot. I also ordered the other menu and left the place with a very happy tummy😊
Good place, good food, good price. Service sometimes slow. And the portion is getting smaller :D
Food 3/5
Service 3.5/5
Price 3.5/5
Ambiance 4/5
Decent home cooked meal with not so extensive menu.
A very nice traditional ambiance, great for expats and visitors. Also, the food is not too spicy for foreign taste.
Accept card payment, but sometimes the EDC might be offline. So, bring cash.
The menu's a little bit on the smaller side, but the food was very good. The price is also reasonably affordable.
Good place that serve traditional food, love the "Bubur duren mlekoh " 😁😁
The menu is small but food was great and reasonably priced.
great taste, cozy place with reasonable price
Various Indonesian food are available, with reasonable price and cozy place
A Javanese food place that caters to foreigner mostly. We absolutely love the food and the price is fair. I wish they have more items in the menu though.
PS. It's definitely not a warung (stall) but a restaurant :p
No bad to try but it's a little pricy compare to the local restaurant. Do try for the nasi campur or eyem penggeng.
Quiet, clean, good Javanese food, attractive open air atmosphere with plants on back wall.
Not at all recommended. Place is filthy foods are pricey compared with what it is, poor service. Limited selection.
The owner is a famous comedian and this place become a hit after a legendary Indonesian movie shoot their sequel here. A bit pricey though. It offers traditional javanese food with great taste. Foreigner are seen a lot here, maybe because the place itself is a javanese traditional house.
Indonesian Cruise, tradisional taste, affordable price with so many variant of menus
Good place to enjoy hommy food especially javanese food. Sayur terong and Paru Bacem has a good taste here
Classical atmosphere that you will get from this place, combined with the taste of the food, superb.
I love this place.. u could feel javanese atmosphere very well here, and also the food taste best..
Great quality food, excellent descriptions, a nice location. Even though it may attract more tourists than locals, many of the tourists are Indonesian! Overall a good experience. Only downfalls the same song was in repeat for the whole 1.5 hours we were there!!! Nice song, but only the first 2 or 3 times you hear it. Haha
A pretty Nice place to find local food in Jogja. Love the place its nice and very homey. Foods were nice as well. Though some foods were finished when i came
Looking for a cozy place with local Javanese taste, this place is a must go. Owned by lndonesian artist, Butet Kertarajasa, this place offer delicious local food with very reasonable price at a cozy Javanese atmosphere. If you 're lucky enough you can meet the owner at the store, just like I did.
The nasi campur lidah was awesome. The spicy taste from sambals were just right to your mouth along with the sweetness.
Did not like the food at all. Service wasn't particularly good and prices too high for what was served.
For me the menu is great. I like the grilled chicken, so tasty
One of the restaurants in Jogjakarta to find authentic Javanese cuisines. You can get various options of beverages including the tradional ones.
I once visited this place to know why Zuckerberg chose this place over all other authentic restaurant in Yogyakarta. For me the taste is quite different than local food i ever tasted.
Big name of Butet K made us came to this resto. Unfortunately the resto quality is not big as Butet's name :(. The environment & food quality are standard. The service is bad. Honestly we don't want to come again. There are so many traditional food with traditional environment that we can find in Jogja compare this resto.
