I highly recommend Lu Putu as a moderately priced restaurant with excellent food, a delightful ambience, and genteel staff. Both visits have been a dining pleasure. The rijstafel is a perfect introduction to Balinese flavours.

Great local cuisine, friendly staff, local pickup and return available. Local seafood and other Balinese food. The Dada Gulung, it is a Balinese dessert dish worth trying.

Nice ambience but food took about an hour to arrive. We ordered chicken satay appetizer but they brought the entree version with the rest of the food. And charged us for the entree. They corrected on the bill but overall average experience and taste.

Lu his wife name and Putu, his daughter name. Wife takes charge of kitchen and husband takes care of patrons. Lovely and cosy place with a little garden. Good food that we just have to go back for dinner the next day. Love their Bebek Tutu (need to order 1 day in advance) Ayam Panggang and gado gado.
Definitely will go back again.

Perfect spot if you stay in the Candi Beach hotel. Only 5 minutes walk with delicious food and nice atmosphere for a reasonable price

Ambience is good, but parking space is very limited (it has almost no parking space in this very narrow street). Local food is not recommended. We tried local food (ayam bakar and nasi campur). The taste is inferior and is not justified by their expensive price. They could be much better. We didn't try Western ones, so we can't comment on that.

Nice ambience, outside seating, good food taste, free WiFi. Only negative, the menu has probably 10-15 wines, but they have/had only one on stock, which was the least interesting for me, so I had to order something else to drink.

For dinner, it is a nice and quiet place. Service was good and food was nice, without being excellent.
The place is a little hard to find as you have to leave the main road and keep going a little in the dark. Nice experience.

Fun experience, great food. Nice staff. Accepts major credit cards. Uses filtered water for ice and cooking. Had the seafood bucket for two. It was a good amount of food for only 190000 IDR. They literally take the fish out of their pond and cook it for you. Very fresh.

Really good value for money. There is kind of a garden in the back where you can sit. There are tables for two but it's also possible to eat here with groups. All the food we had was tasted good. We had the rijsttafel.

Nice little garden with a small pond. I had the Gurami Asam Manis (fish deep fried with sweet and sour sauce). It's similar to a classic Chinese sweet and sour pork, but with the most delicious fish and much better. Plus the fish is as fresh as can be. They literally caught it from the pond 2 minutes after I ordered it. It might have been the best fish I ever had.
