I've been twice visit here. One of best javanese culture restaurant in Jakarta. I love so much the atmosphere that really really like in java with affordable price and friendly service.

Choices of authentic Javanese food. My favorite menus are: nasi liwet, sosis solo, nasi ikan gereh (watch out their spicy sambal bawang), and es gula asem. For desserts, serabi is highly recommended. Price wise very affordable.

Unique atmosphere, it was like taken back to old traditional javanese era. Perfect for gathering, friends and family. The food was nice although I wouldn't say great. And the bill was on the high side

It's a lovely place to eat. It looks very traditional with javanese authentic interior & exterior. They even have a man playing kecapi (traditional instrument) at particular time.
The food are really good too, and they're not that expensive. I really like sate ayam here.

If you're javanese and feels home-sick, comw and enjoy this place. Many various traditional dishes will definitely take you to the 'coming home' mood. Too bad the wifi connection is poor but overall will definitely coming back for more establishment (hopefully soon).

A great place to bring your foreigner friends or guests as it offers Indonesian traditional dishes (mostly from Java) which taste quite nice, especially its authentic Solo dish called 'Selat Solo'.
Its old-fashioned decoration will fly your memories back a few decades 😉

Love this place! Authentic Javanese cuisine with traditional furnished and decoration. Nice view and there's keroncong and traditional live music.. you can't find like this in South of Jakarta. You must try Serabi Solo.. its a must!!

Tucked off the road in company with several other local restaurants this venue is very simply decorated but serves amazing Indonesian food. Seating is either inside or outside, & consists of wooden benches or converted sewing machine tables. The staff are attentive & polite, & the food is served quickly after ordering. The menu is extensive, with a wide selection of local dishes & drinks. Prices are very reasonable. There is ample, paid parking available on site. Highly recommended.

the employee is not friendly, last sunday i with my friends come to this place, because my friends is more than 30 person, the bos of Waroeng Solo says this is should be event, WTF!!

You mean i should pay more for booked that place
The issue is person more than 30 person or parking place BOSS!!

This place takes you back to Solo city 20 years ago. Very authentic Javanese food and beverages. Must try the Nasi Liwet. In the evening, there arena lot of mosquitoes. Ask the waiters for some mosquitoes repellent.

This is where you go if you want to experience Javanese cuisine. They have a good selection local Javanese foods and beverages. The ambiance is quite fun as they classically decorate the restaurant and told their waiters to wear traditional Javanese outfit. Beware though; the original place is not air-conditioned. Oh.. they usually have some kind of a 2-men band playing old javanese songs.
