this is the only place you can find varies of sambal. from the sweet ones to the most spicy ones. they have table with dining chairs, or you can sit on the floors, it depends on your choice. they also have the smoking area which is not so wide, comparing to the non smoking one.
most of time, they're almost full, and busy. so I recommend you to visit on weekday before 12 or after 1 pm.

Good Indonesian food, for sure! If you are looking for good sambal, this is the right place. The smoking area is not wide enough compared to the non-smoking area. It's crowded most of the time, especially during lunch or dinner time - you might have to wait in line to get a seat.

You wait to be seated. Later you pay at the desk according to the table number. They control, if you got everything. You order on a list acc. to the menu. They have photos. Ikan is fish. Cheap and good.

One of branch of SS franchise, always crowded especially on dining time. For whom that love spicy food, this one definitely is one of the best for its 'sambal'. There are a lot of varian of sambal that you can choose. Going once is not enough. Very recommended.

One of the best Waroeng Spesial Sambal in Yogyakarta. Food was great, place had substantial seating to handle lunch-break crowd. Only challenge was finding parking space on it's peak hour.

Like the menu so much.. I love sambal .. For those who love spicy food.. This is the best place to enjoy it. But make sure u have extra time bcos the place is usually crowded.. So must wait a while till food is ready ..

Delicious and cheap! Is always pretty crowded but I think its worth the wait. The waiters are patient and ready to assist.

I love the food. It's always crowded and you might have to wait for half an hour or so, but it's always worth it. Every time I go back to Jogja, I always eat at this place.

You have to try fried eggplant, mango sambal, and roasted egg.

I'm confused, there are two SS branded stores open near each other here. Are they the same or different? Probably the big success of SS brand force them to open the shop as many as possible.

I also forgot which SS that I visited near here. But most likely it will have similar theme: dirt cheap food with small serving, allowing you to taste many menu with no worry.

Delicious and super well priced. We ate for 65.000 and were completely stuffed. All sorts of sambal, soup, veggies, fish, chicken, ice tea and pineapple for dessert.
