When I came here last time, 2 years ago, public visitors (non-UI) need to pay IDR 5.000 for a single entry. Public visitors can not borrow books as well, however we can photocopy them with our own expense (the library provides such service if not mistaken).

This is a place where you can explore hundreds of thousands of books, mostly related to academic writing. The place is humongous and loaded with myriad of library & research tools. Needless to say, this place is super comfy, cozy, and crazy good.

All-in-all, this Crystal of Knowledge Library, has been always on my favourite list of places to chill and gain knowledge with my circle.

The crystal of knowledgeUniversitas Indonesia library, the biggest library in south east asia.. Located in Campus UI Depok..We can find cafetaria, korean restaurant and a national bank in it. Unfortunately, we cant find the fitness facility anymore..

I can say they have complete collection.
They have mac that people can use to search their book collection.
There are some place to eat here at ground floor, like Starbucks and Green T cafe.
At ground floor they have mac room, you can do some browsing there.

The central library of Universitas Indonesia provides plenty of reading options. A great place to relax and unwind although it could get a little too hot sometimes inside. There are a few stores and cafes operating here including a Starbucks, as well as a bank.

Nice place to do your thesis here, so comfort with a natural view near to the UI lake. Not recommended if you want to work with your laptop without your own personal wifi or internet data. You have to pay around 5000 or even more if you are non-UI students per visit

UI CENTRAL LIBRARY

This building is the core of the building called crystal building. Collection of books available in the library complete enough to serve tens of faculties at UI environment, which's books standard both English and local books.

The library building is situated on the edge of the lake UI, next door to the hall UI and dealing with the rector building which in this case are separated by an artificial lake.

The library building is served by a modern Apple iMac and a lot of helping students find and use library materials. Now this UI central library building, the main building was renovated according to the times.

Courtyard parking provided quite extensive and behind the building has long been equipped with a number of seating facilities on the banks of the lake under the shady trees, making visitors can unwind by enjoying the view off in the direction of the artificial lake and also enjoy the view of various buildings UI encircling the lake.

Designed gardens and green are now more comfortable to the eye. Also equally important parts of this crystal building leased to a number of tenants like BNI 46, bookstores and places to eat and drink services such as restaurants Korea and Starbucks.

Reforms carried out continuously in order to improve public services to ensure I give five stars to the UI library and all services are integrated in it.

I suggest this place is worth a visit as one of the student learning center is right for comfort and beauty.

I would really like to give this a 5* because the architecture and ambiance screams of it all over. Sadly it has to lose 2 stars to poor maintenance, intolerable lighting during night time, and concerning state of sub-facilities. The building itself is relatively new to the array of buildings in UI, the scenes inside portrays aesthetic qualities however this is bombarded by leaking roofs, molding paint of the walls, and also the glass and floors seems less than adequate. The toilets are also extremely horrendous and is a shame to be representing what is Indonesia's best university. I believe the Inside of the library is superb with all Apple iMacs services for students which is without a doubt one of the only in Indonesia. Lift services to all floors however access to the real library requires student ID so non-student or non-faculty members wouldn't be able to enjoy all the facilities the library provides especially to do with access to the actual library. There are lounging and meeting areas available to guests of UI and also many different tenants such as Starbucks, Books and Beyond, and several others. The park right outside the library is perfect for some outdoor studying sessions. This would have been much better if they could improve the maintenance of the building, repaint the walls, re-instate closed tenants and reorganize all the elements of the building. Not to mention that UI needs to wake up and start looking into how concerning the trash problem is especially in the park area. This is such a shame for a University who won the "green university" in the Green metric university awards. Truly disappointed in the managerial part of UI.

I guess this is the biggest college library in Indonesia. It has 3 storeys with so many collection of books, journals, thesis, and other literatures. Also, there is a huge Apple iMac laboratory inside. The library also has an entertainment section that includes Starbucks, Korean restaurant, a bookstore, a convenience store, and some food kiosks.

It has Starbucks, Minimarket, and several cafés. Library accessible by public you just have to register on the front desk. Mac room also available for students. Open seating available

Maybe one of the best library a university can have. Supposed to be the biggest in ASEAN. The architecture is very unique, it has "green living roof". The library has both a quite reading room and open space for discussion. In the ground floor, there are several shops, even a fitness center at adjacent building.
