  Stayed at one of the villa's in Ubud heaven. Lovely room, clean and tidy. Kitchen are is equipped with basic needs, pool was amazingly clean (probably the second cleanest pool I have seen during my stay in Bali). Staff are polite, friendly and the reception staff are very good at communication skills. This is definitely one of the nicer places in Penestanan. The bathroom is the only area that I thought needs improvement. There are stairs to enter the bathroom and they have no grip, showers need a curtain and a better drain as the water collects really quickly. Other than that its pretty centrally located to get around in Penestanan.

  Very inflexible policy and not allow for cancellation due to volcanic activities. they only care for profit making and does not provide any customer service.

  Rooms are quite complete. Hairdryer is not so strong and there is no curtain in the bath. Communication between staff needs to be improved. Breakfastbox to take is very poor. Wine is too short available and more expensive than neighbour. It would be good also to put some stairs at the swimming pools.
  Attention: a lot to walk and many many stairs to climb. Not good for people with bad legs or invalid.

  Good food, quick and friendly service service, great view of a small rice paddy and water features. We had the Pirimida Matabak and the chicken satay.

  Great food available breakfast, lunch and dinner. If lucky can watch fireflies in the paddies nearby in the evenings.

  Reviewing the restaurant only. Didn't not have any dairy milk (like soy, coconut, etc) so had to go with a beer instead of a smoothie.

  We ate at the restaurant and wouldn't recommend it. It's the most expensive place in the area; I paid 75,000 for a main meal. I ordered the laksa, and while I know it's a bit risky sometimes to stray from Indonesian food, it was marked as a 'chef's selection' so I was expecting it to be alright. However, it was basically two-minute noodles in a curry sauce (not a soup), with some beansprouts and two prawns. Also, the toilets had no toilet paper or hand towels. My partner's nasi goreng was alright but there are better at other cafes in the area. Nice water lilies in the pond next to the restaurant though :)

  Petit paradis, difficile à trouver, mais tranquille et confortable. Bungalows avec piscine privative, cuisine, frigo (garni). Accès par petite voie étroite en scooter, ou à pied par une une volée de marches. Personnel peu professionnel mais d'une grande gentillesse et aux petits soins.

  Villa with private pool was perfect for us, family 2 kids. Peaceful and quiet but only short walk to town, as long as you can handle the big stairway. Really worth the money, you won't be disappointed

  Haven't stayed at the villas, but I've eaten at the restaurant. It's in a very beautiful and quiet location and the food and service is good. Recommend going for dinner around sunset.
