An excellent, local place to get coffee that makes it a 5-Star experience based on the product alone. The owner proudly roasts the beans and his expertise of the industry is worth the visit. Underpriced for the experience!

Fantastic coffee in a small but air conditioned space, and when I asked for sweetener, the owner provided coconut nectar, and the combination has in fact changed my life and I will be purchasing bottles of the stuff when I get back home. Simple menu, but every item on it is worth trying; the folks at UCR sure know their coffee!

Fantastic coffee, warm environment, gracious staff and favourable prices. Stopped in on a rainy mid morning to some relaxing music and the smell of freshly roasted coffee.

Coffee beans are roasted on premise and available as beans or freshly brewed via espresso machine, pour over, French press or cold brew.

Tried both the coffee and the spicy kakao chocolate drink. Not spicy in a sense of heat but maybe more chai spice (cardamom, clove, etc). Very authentic I think to the original cacao drinks of the Aztecs. I had mine without sugar.

Total cost less than one coffee at a Starbucks. Highly recommended

Lovely staff that are keen to please. Good selection of coffee available as well as multiple brewing methods, would buy their coffee if we had the means of being able to prepare it on the road. Definitely drop in if you are in ubud. Reasonable prices 25k for a cup of coffee.

What a wonderful place for coffee! This is a coffee specialty joint that sells nothing else except coffee. For serious coffee drinker, this is the place not to be missed. Comfortable air-con interior. The perfect place to start your day or to add a little omph. Keep it up UCR!

I love this place! Best Cappuccino in Bali. (And that's saying something!) Friendly helpers. Friendly visitors. Air conditioned. And on a hot day. Heavenly.

Under-rated coffee shop down a relatively corner of Ubud central. The flat white was really balanced with citrus-acidic tasting notes. The owners were really friendly and keen to share their knowledge about coffees!

A great value, top quality coffee spot in Ubud. Not sure many people know about it as the shop was never too crowded the few times they visited. But it should be! Super friendly staff and two coconut flat whites you can get for 50,000 IDR. Friendly staff too and a nice look out onto a quiet Ubud back street.

Good coffee, even better vibe. Sat inside with six strangers in silence with some background music - found myself Shazaming every song. Nice place to get away from the bustling streets. Also very well priced.

V60 Drip (25k) AND air conditioning AND WiFi. Roasted beans for sale @80-90k/bag. Watch the birds across the street and the scooters pass on this quieter side street

Best coffee I had in all of our vacation. Staff were lovely and are keenly interested in coffee. They have learned all they know about coffee from visiting tourists so if you're a connoisseur and have some knowledge to impart they'll happily learn from you. Beans are hand picked for blending to get the best taste.

UCR is a great little speciality coffee cafe offering single origin, filter (V60 & french press) and cold brew. They also offer awesome cacao-based drinks and sell coffee beans and equipment.

All the beans are from the region (Bali, Java, etc). The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. Definitely check this place out if you're into your coffee.

comfy situated in the heart of Ubud, Ubud Coffee Roastery offers the customers warm-hearted coffee alongside with tea and chocolate as well.. very friendly barista will happily explain all your inquisition about the coffee, chocolate, and tea world. And yes, the prices are quite reasonable, 20k-25k, and they will again offer 20% price-off discount as the compensation of the road maintenance that happened in front of the coffee shop. Finally, for me it's one of the Best Coffee in UBUD.

I had a Ketamani bean brewed filter style: rich, smooth and fruity - delicious. This cosy cafe serves coffee as good as any I've tasted in Melbourne. Single origins and blends all sourced from local (Indonesian) plantations and roasted by Jock the friendly proprietor. He does espresso V60 plunger etc. and you can choose from several beans for your brew. Ground coffee or beans available for purchase at about half what I pay in Melbourne.
Now that I've found UBC, I can stop packing coffee from home (Padre in E Brunswick) in my suitcase.

Excellent coffee from this local coffee roaster. Enjoy a flat white with coconut milk in this serene setting with chill music in the background. The price for the coffee drinks match the neighbouring coffee shops even though their coffee quality is superior!

Good coffee. Best we tried in Ubud although depends on barista. Good service. Price good. Quiet street by bali standards. Seemingly always at least 1 remote worker camped here.

A small casual place a bit off the main stretch of Ubud. Looks very nice and modern. The coffee was very good - I tried the coldbrew. They also have the option of coconut milk at no extra cost. There was a bit of a language barrier but we managed.

Good cappuccino (25k), good tea as well. It's served in a pot which is enough for 3 cups (20k) and a very very tasty banana-chocolate muffin. (which is pretty much the only non-liquid they have)

Really nice little coffee shop close to the main area of Ubud but just out of the way enough to be quiet. My flat white had a nutty - butter taste to it. Slightly bright beans but with a nice mouth feel. Also tried an espresso to see what their blend was like without milk and was very impressed. Lovely, friendly staff. Will be coming back.

Best brewed coffee we had in Ubud, after having been to all the other more famous places. They don't have the expensive kit that Anomali or Seniman have, but what they do they do extremely well. They're roasting regularly over the road in Taksu and doing a great job and you can get a locally grown Kintamani coffee that was only roasted a few days ago. Such a treat. The baristas we met there were really into their coffee and keen to chat. Fantastic service every time we went, a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Make the effort to walk a bit further from Ubud central! Can recommend both their v60s and their cold brew coffee.

Good non-expensive alternative to Seniman's cafe in sense of quality of coffee. No food. Home made coffee + few cakes.

Lovely small and quiet place to enjoy a cup of Balinese single origin coffee. Helpful staff can assist with the choice of coffee. From my perspective the coffee has quite high acidity so it's best as black coffee. Still nice. Free wi fi, nice music, air conditioning. The Cafe is part of Taksu business that's now growing into coffee trading.
