We've been at three dive sites with no current to strong currents. The dive masters always gave us a detailed introduction what to expect and how to react in the currents. The equipment is in great quality, each dive master had 1 to 4 divers. On the boat you can expect coffee, tea and lunch with enough sun protected areas to chill. Great company, would dive with you again.

I dived with Uber Scuba for 3 days and had an awesome time. They came recommended to me already and I'm glad I chose them, the staff all treat you like long friends, and they make everything easy. Even the long boat rides out to the sites were made enjoyable with snacks, drinks, and comfortable places to relax. Thank you team for an awesome few days! Hope to see you again 🙏

Had the best experience with Uber at Komodo! All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful and professional, prioritizing safety while helping us enjoy our day of diving. They have their own boat which is well managed with great food and a lovely deck to hang out. Honestly couldn't have asked for a better day of diving. It was my husband's first time leisure diving after getting his open water cert, and he couldn't stop raving about what a great experience it was. Would recommend to anyone, beginner and experienced!

We did a liveaboard with them and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had travelling. The guides were so educated about the area, really friendly, and unbelievably helpful. The food was quite good, the rooms were small but the outdoor areas are so great that you don’t spend much time in them anyway. All the equipment worked perfectly. For the cost, this is 10/10 worth it.

Amazing dive center. Boat is really comfortable with a couple different spaces you can hang out, we went to great diving sites, the equipment was good. They kept us well fed throughout the day trip and the food was really good. What makes this place is the staff: they prioritize safety, while also wanting to make sure everyone has a fun time. They were fun to talk to, great to dive with, and I felt safe at all times with them. Special shout-out to Afri— the best diving guide I’ve ever had!!!

Went for a 1 day diving trip (approx 90€), did 3 dives in incredible spots, with an amazing staff, and excellent organization. The material is top notch and the whole crew was helpful, fun and very competent. I highly recommend Uber Scuba, one of the best diving experiences in my life !!

I have been diving with several dive centers in Komodo and Uber Scuba was definitely the best!

They have a nice boat, super delicious food and an amazing atmosphere not just on the boat but also in the shop. You immediately feel welcomed and they do everything to ensure you have a great time. We have been diving for 6 days with them and I did my deep specialty there. To ensure we have a great last day, they went to the dive sites we requested before even though they were a bit further away! This shows how customer focused Uber scuba is.

Despite that, they have extremely experienced and skilled instructors. This will give you all the comfort you need so you can fully enjoy the world class diving :).

If you think about doing a OWD or any course / certification in Komodo: Ignore all the naysayer! Komodo is the perfect place to learn diving. The variety of divesites allows everyone to experience this incredible place.

Thank you and see you soon, Uber Scuba

Did a 4 night 5 day liveaboard in Komodo with uber scuba. There are many liveaboards I’m komodo but I would say uber scuba is easily the best in terms of organization, planning, accommodating, local knowledge of Dive sites. Very top notch company. Jorge was an excellent guide, knew the sites very well. When I return I will only Dive with uber scuba. I give them 5 stars

We did 6 months traveling and our 6 days and 18 dives on the Amalia liveaboard from Uber Scuba were one of our top experiences. Every little part of the experience is just perfect:

    - The divesites in the south are stunning, we saw everything we were hoping for.
    - Well trained, very friendly and experienced divemasters.
    - The best boat crew. Always happy, joking and having fun.
    - Last but not least, the food is just unbelievable good. Cook Arnold is a true cheff and surprised us littery with every meal!

Look no further, just book here!

Awesome, awesome, awesome. Super friendly staff, great service in the shop and on the boat, very thorough and safety-orientated. The boat is huge, well kitted out, the food is yummy, the gear is good. I went diving on my birthday and they arranged a surprise birthday cake for me on the boat :) :) Really nothing more to say than THANK YOU and you guys ROCK :) :)

Excellent dive centre!! Extremely friendly atmosphere with great briefings for each dive site and equipment. Food on the boat during the day-trip are delicious, and the dive masters, each and everyone, are so friendly and good fun. You see they have a passion for diving and are enjoying it to the fullest to show you this stunning dive area!! The price is good value since you get 3 dives, equipment, transport (the boat), delicious food and excellent dive guides!

Good boat, great crew, great guides, delicious food and the dives are amazing. Wish I could have done more diving with Uber.
Thank you Ody, Afri, Jordan and Sergio for being awesome guides and Sergio in particular for telling me what I was doing wrong while diving. Much appreciated!
My only point of critique is that the engine in the back should be covered up for safety.

We knew nothing about diving and we did our open water course in Komodo national park. Friendly staff, great instructor, nice atmosphere, and - obviously - AMAZING diving. We even got to see manta rays. One of the best experiences of my life. Dive here, you're spoiled forever (apparently).

We dove 2 days with Uber Scuba. Our divemaster, Ody, was fantastic. The diving itself was phenomenal. The food was delicious. Our only complaint was the dive masters in training aboard- they ate most of the breakfast before guests, they dominated the sitting areas chain smoking so that guests were forced to stand on the edge of the boat to escape the smoke. Without the loud and obnoxious DMT's it would have been near perfect.

A very pleasant experience, the staff and operators of this company are professional to the highest standards. Engaging with many years of experience and a depth of knowledge and respect for the environment. I spent 4 days on board the Amailia. I intend to return with my family.

I spent 4 glorious days diving off the Uber Scuba liveaboard boat, the Amalia in early November. The operation is very professional with the owners being involved from the start to the finish. There is a good focus on safety and you feel that they really know how to respect the ocean, the reef and the marine life living there.

The boat itself has recently been repurposed into a liveaboard and is modern and spacious with all the luxuries of a home away from home on the seas.

In terms of diving, the briefings were very informative and each dive site was sketched up in great detail and everything explained by the guides so we were well prepared for the dive (which is critical when there are currents around).

We were also treated to 5 star healthy meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner - with everyone's meal preferences taken into consideration. I especially enjoyed the freshly prepared juices presented in jam jars with each meal. The head chef is a genius in the kitchen!

I had a cabin, but elected to sleep under the stars at night as it is so quiet and cool up on deck (they find bays where there are no other noisy boats with generators). They also turn off their generator at night which allows one to experience the serenity of Komodo with only the sounds of the water lapping at the sides of the boat.

In all, I feel that it was money well spent for this life experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I would love to give this dive shop a better review, but unfortunately, the operational team blew it. The dive masters, boat, equipment all get 5*, however, the admin team falls short and ruins things for them. Our boat broke down after our 3rd dive, requiring a tow from the Wicked Dive boat. after about an hour of slow going, the Wicked boat broke. This is where things really went down hill. Their crisis triage was terrible to put it mildly. 2 large boats came out from LBJ to tow the dead dive boats and a "fast boat" came out to load the divers and get us back to town. Well, about 3 hrs later at 930pm we rolled into port to find that both dive boats had beaten us back from their tows. The "fast boat" arrived last and took longer than the tow! Not great planning and unfortunately left a sour taste in our mouth after a FANTASTIC day of diving. The worst part of this whole experience was that the shop operational team admitted no fault, did not apologize and tried to make things ok by buying pizza. Sorry, I'm not an 8yr old, pizza doesn't fix everything. Aside from this fiasco, the whole team was amazing and we really enjoyed our dives. Hopefully UBER can avoid this from happening again and learn from the poor response.

"Excellent" or "Top-notch" don't come close to doing justice to the service offered by Uber Scuba. They simply hit it out of the park on all fronts. My girlfriend and I booked a 5-day trip on their liveaboard, the AMALIA, and not only was it without a doubt the highlight of our two-month Indo trip, but one of the most fun and memorable experiences of our lives! From the very beginning, our inquiries were promptly met and everything seemed super well organized. We we're so excited before arriving since we'd heard great things about them and their beautiful brand new boat. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! As soon as we set foot on the vessel we were met with the best treatment either I or my girlfriend had ever received and the freshly completed AMALIA was an absolute masterpiece of Phinisi-style boatbuilding. Every little detail had been considered and well thought resulting in a fantastic layout and decor are fantastic. The cabins are super cozy and comfortable with great en-suite bathrooms including flushing toilets and freshwater showers. We slept really well each night and despite being there during what is apparently the hottest time of year, were fine with just the natural ventilation from the portholes and small hatch. The food was something we've seldom experienced before and not the kind of quality you would expect to be served on a small vessel. Every meal was beautifully prepared and simply delicious! During our entire trip up until then we had felt deprived and were so happy to be served a richness of fresh fruit and vegetables along with such a variety of international and local cuisine. Right until the last day we enjoyed fresh salad and almost every meal was prepared with lots of fresh tasty herbs. The entire crew were super friendly and already on just their second trip operated like a well-oiled machine. Every little thing was taken care of, and always with a smile to beat the band. The last point I need to mention is, well, the diving! We weren't your most seasoned divers, and it was our first time in the Komodos so we were absolutely blown away, every day! From morning to evening and a couple of nights, our guides took us to see everything that the area has to offer from plenty of sharks to Manta rays, all the macro stuff you can imagine and everything in between. They always new to seek out the best spots for us based on the season and the tides making it challenging enough to be exciting, yet easy enough to be able to enjoy every bit of it! Basically we were spoiled in every way and I can't imagine anything that could've made it much better. It was everything we'd hoped for and more. Thanks so much!!
