Comfortable, friendly staff, lovely new restaurant, clean, great pool, fantastic views, good food, relaxing, good wifi, westerners well catered for. Been there three or four times now and we'll be back.

Theft from room by staff
During my stay when I was away for a short walk someone of the staff stole my money $250,-
I looked the door ones and when I got back it was locked twice. So somebody came in with the extra key.
Manager asked staff but nobody knew anything.
Hotel is good but this ruined my stay.
It not comfortable knowing that nothing is safe is your room.
Room was not equipped with a safe.

Enjoyed my brief stay here with my friends. The hotel is by the lake and has direct boat access, making it easy to explore the great Toba lake and Samosir island, and to head back to Parapat. The hotel rooms are big, clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel for all kind of travelers--couples, families or those on outing.

Super location at Samosir Island
Provides good prices with a great service
Staff is very friendly and the rooms are in a very good condition
If you like small hotels (less than 30 rooms)- it is the best idea to stay here

GREAT. Simly Great accomodation, stuff, owner and everything. After long travelling over Sumatra it was first accomodation where prepared me Cuba Libre ;-). Nice and comfortable rooms with AC, several swimming pools, massages atc. Simply not making mistake to go there. Lovely flowers (Orchid garden) as an entrance coridor.

I got room 20 which was on the ground floor. Unfortunately there was no hot water and there were heaps of mosquitoes in my room. On the plus side, there were mosquito net and the staff provided mosquito repellant. My other family members on the 1st floor had hot water and minimal mosquitoes. There's a good view of the lake as well so I would definitely recommend walking out the back to have a view. I would have given 4 stars but I got the short end of the stick so 3 stars it is.

I like the cleanliness of the room and the helpful staffs. They serve very delicious french bread for breakfast! I can jump into the lake, besides swimming in the pool :)

Tuk Tuk area in Samosir Island. Have 2 swim pool, you can choice view of mountain or view of lake. The breakfast just serve by menu american breakfast or indonesian breakfast with 2 choice fried bihoon/noodle or fried rice. The place its clean, the staff is nice, helpful and kind. You can rent motor bike to go arround island with 100k for start 9am to 5pm or 30k/hour. If you come here you can ask to the guy from boat local in Parapat to drop you to Toba Village inn just 20k they will drop you from behind of hotel entrence. So more close no need take long way to go to Tuk Tuk Harbour first. Also you can take a boat from behind of hotel to go back to Parapat or Medan the receptionist will help you.

I was surprised this place isn't more highly rated. Beautifully kept grounds. Lush gardens. Delicious food including complimentary breakfast--not a buffet but a choice of individually made crepes, toast or nasi goreng, with fresh fruit, juice and coffee. Helpful and friendly staff, and clean well kept rooms. Could have spent weeks here--and I'm picky when it comes to hotels!

Stayed here with family including a very active two year old and had a great time!
