This guest house is very comfort place with unique decoration. They use vintage as their main theme. There are many photo spot in this guest house. For the price is affordable. For the food in breakfast, i think its good. But unfortunately they didnt have swimming pool. I recommend you to take photo in lobby.. its like in vintage library

Facilities very bad ie;iron place.Even for hair-dryer customer have to rent as additional charges. Bathroom smells and not properly washed(u can use floor detergent to minimize the smells but yet not done till we completed our stay) .others is ok..customer service response counter is very warmful.

The hotel is unique with its 20th century decoration.the staffs were helpful.most importantly,the toilet and room are clean even though the room is quite small.the food was good especially the porridge,overall,its recommended to travellers.

The service was good, food was delicious and the room was comfortable enough. The only complaint I have would be the fact that we have to go to the top floor to iron our clothes. Also, I was locked out my room on two separate occasions because the key card was not functioning. Alas, just minor details!

Personally I had a hard time adjusting to the dim yellowish lights of this guest house. Breakfast was okay. This place has a promising future if everything could be improved. Cheers.

Terrible place. The rooms are tiny, u dont even have space for yr luggages. Theres also no closet, so be prepared to put all yr stuff on yr bed and the small bedside table. The tv is wall mounted & theres no writing desk. They provide a tiny coffee table to put the kettle, the complimentary bottled water & toiletries (yes, toiletries because theres no space to put them in the toilet). I got soiled bedsheet which was not changed during my 3 nights stay. They only provide 1 pillow per guest; any request for extra pillows will be charged per pillow per night usage. The toilet smells of sewer, with moldy curtains that have seen better days. Also, dont expect them to replenish any toiletries for the length of your stay. Oh, and did i tell u theres no telephone in the room? If u need anything, go down to the lobby.
Breakfast is terrible, to say the least. The coffee house can only hold 30% of their guests, so dont be surprised if u find no tables for yr breakfast. Nobody will clean the tables, replenish the plates/cutleries and once the food runs out, nobody will replenish them too! U can wait for hours & nothing will happen. And while all that is happening, u can actually see their staff lounging around in corners, playing with their mobile phones.
We practically had to go scream at the front desk, then only the front desk attendant came to clean our table (along with most other tables with piles & piles of plates), replenish the cutleries (after asking 3 times) & replenished the food (after waiting another 15 minutes).
Funny thing is u cant see any of their staff during the peak time of breakfast, but as soon as the crowd clears from the coffee house, their staff will come out from hiding & start to clean the tables, replenish the plates & the food (yes, replenish the cups, plates & food when the coffee house is already empty).
Its like all their staff is on their first day of job & dont know what to do until u scream at them.
Avoid this hotel at all costs. The only thing 'nice' about this place is the pseudo english lobby area.response / report this review -

Recommended guest house with hotel quality. Artistic interior with british vintage style, very homey & warm.. The staff are very friendly. And what i like the most is this hotel not allowed guest to smoking inside hotel area. The only smoking area in the breakfast area.

Nicely decorated guest house. Maintenance and housekeeping need a lot of improvements. Stained and torn sheets, leaked soap dispenser, small bathroom, the head shower is a real pain. They need to repaint the wall too!

Love this place for years. A cozy an comfort themed hotel. Quite close with main road but not noisy. Kinda sanctuary in the middle of city.
Near with lots of cafes, restaurants and factory outlets.

5 stars is overrated I think.. So I will give this hotel 4 for their small Nice and clean room.. Good employees.. The breakfast is standard and not so many choices.. For your information : they don't provide sandals
