Customer service extremely helpful and very friendly
The room is modern and clean
The Hotel is situated close to the beach , stores, and restaurants.

We stayed for two nights at The Sun and we found it really nice. The position is good, close to the center and the beach. The staff is friendly and always available. The room was tidy, clean and spacious enough, but the toilet is a bit small. The cleanliness is ok, our pillow cases were smelly but they changed them for us. The price is really cheap for what you get. Breakfast is recommended, the buffet is quite various and the food is good.Totally worth it!

We booked at The Sun Hotel & Spa for our stay in Bali. The rates were very affordable and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We suggest a room on one of the higher floors to avoid deck chairs outside you room to increase privacy and decrease congestion. Further away from the street would be better to escape any noise from the street.
We got exactly what we booked, a comfortable sized room, on the third floor away from the road with a double bed.
On our first day we also visited the spa and had a reflexology foot massage which also included a lower leg massage and light shoulder massage. Note that goverment taxes (21%) are not included in the advertised prices for promotions.
Most of the popular restaurants and clubs are in walking distance of the hotel. There are tons of surf schools on the nearby beach too.report this review -

Recently had our first stay at the Sun hotel and Spa. The front desk staff were so helpful and polite. Nothing was to much trouble. On arrival we were shown our rooms. My friends was quite a distance from the elevator. I went to reception and they were so understanding. And changed our rooms straight away. Rooms were lovely. Had everything in them. Tea. Coffee. Hairdryer. Touletries. Kettle. Phone. Wifi was great. Could not say one thing dissapointing. The pool was lovely and clean. We were so impressed with the hotel staff and room boys. 5 of us have booked in May. Great value.

I stayed here during Nyepi holiday. I asked for double bed in my reservation but I got twin bed when I checked in. A little disappointing. But the room is clean, very well equipped for a budget room, and the breakfast is great.

This place may be in an alley, but it's nice and clean. The bed is comfortable and the room is quite roomy. We can walk 5 minutes to get to Kuta beach. The service is very good.

Location is fantastic. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Only complaints are uncomfortable sun beds without cushions, late pool opening during the day and early pool closing in the evening.

Was given key to my room and found it had a very bad moldy smell, then discovered my pillowcases and sheets had not been changed since the last occupier. There was a window screwed shut so I could not get natural change of air circulating my room. Was disappointed with my room. However the breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would not class this as a 4 star hotel.

Very noisy work being undertaken above me at 9am, asked them to stop which took around one hour, can hear person in next room very easily, air conditioning drips into room, all of this was brought up with reception and nothing was done took me over an hour just to be able to checkout a day early because I had enough! Do not recommend

Very nice hotel. It was clean ( I am very fussy) it was a spacious room with a really good nice balcony. My room was on the first floor at the front of hotel so a little noisy at night but not enough to keep me awake. Overall my stay here was enjoyable and I would stay here again.
