This shopping mall is very convenient for food. I would say it have more restaurants and options for food then other shops. Many Japanese restaurants, western style restaurants, Chinese, Vietnamese and also a good court with cheaper prices.
You can also find beauty salon, home products, supermarket and etc...
Would be perfect if they have cinema, but unfortunately don't...
If you have time, join one of the activities after 7pm like aerobic sports.. sure you'll have fun..

Basically, The Star is a cluster of eating establishments offering a good mixture of food. There are more food stalls than retail outlets. Cold Storage is an anchor tenant at the basement.
The Rock, located on the upper level, is an excellent performance theatre with good acoustic and fantastic sound system, ideal for musical concerts. On Sundays, it functions as New Creation Church for its congregations.
Parking is very convenient but should be more affordable to bring in the crowd.

Had dinner at Cedele, one of my favourite Cafe. Star B
Vista is a green building, so expect many "open" space that is not air conditioned. The shops and restaurants are air conditioned though. There are many events held at the plaza, so there are always interesting things to experience here. And for movie lovers, there are free movie screenings monthly.

It is a decent capitamall. It has an open air concept in the centre of the mall, with some of the corridors leading to the toilets air-conditioned. I like the big central stepped area. People can just sit there and have their takeaways, or chat with people. Has a good mix of retail and F&B outlets. Between 7.30 and 8.30pm on weekdays, you might find them having some exercise classes in the open space.

New Creation Church is here for your spiritual nourishment. Kitchen food court is here for your physical nourishment. There are countless eateries so you are spoilt for choice. Enjoy air-conditioning comfort or natural air ventilation too.

Great variety of food options. Has a food court on the upper floor for the budget conscious. Retail is less extensive. What it really lacks is an electronics store. Has a supermarket in the basement. Toilets are clean and the open air concept keeps the mall well ventilated.

The Japanese store is one of my concern at this shopping mall and a few tasty restaurant and cafe but there’s not so much special thing actually.
Coldstorage is small and not so much vegetable.

Good point is the environment. It’s very quiet and not so crowded especially on weekday so it’s comfortable to have some tea or coffee;)

The concert hall is also nice with comfortable seats and layout;)

Amazing amount of food choices so you'll never not know what to eat. Occasional exhibits located in the middle of the mall sometimes do bring more life to the place. The theatre at the top is truly one of a kind to be in as well.

The Dim Sum place at Star Vista basement is wonderful. For a picky eater, I would say I enjoyed the noodles with fish, the prawn deep fried dumplings, the carrot cake, the rice roll or whatever you call it. It was really delicious. The Dim sum is The Best I have eaten so far in SG. The waiters are friendly and attentive. I would really recommend this place for anyone who wants good Chinese food. And well they have a particular window where you get food on discounts as well. You need to try this place. The ambience of the restaurant is also very pleasant.

This place is not the usual type of shopping mall. It is mostly open aired with the exception of the shops which have air conditioning. Also, on certain days, there are aesthetic performances on the center stage of the mall taking place. The upper floors of the mall also provide good spots for hanging out with friends and also provides a very nice view.

Offers wide range of food and beverages but the surrounding areas offers a different ambience. There are many food and beverages along the road and f&bs are in old colonial houses that make it unique.

Beautifully designed building! But unfortunately not many retail shops inside, mostly F&B. It's open air condition didn't help with the shopping experience.

There are lots of nice restaurants here, though prices may be a little high. If you're on a budget, Saizeriya serves up fairly homely Italian food for under $10 (portions may be a tad small, but they're sufficient for a meal). There's also a food court at the top floor and a children's area in the basement.

Renovated relatively recently, this place is clean and very modern offering services and eats that caters to a wide range of people. What's unique about this place is that the function hall is used for church congregation on the weekends. parking is ample and rates comparable to the HDB across the street. only gripe i had was that the washrooms are far and hidden out of the way.

Many food choices and promotions to spoil one's choices. Entertainments such as karaoke are available too. The theatre itself is huge, clean, well designed with good acoustics and sound system as well as multiple screens for audience at different angles and levels. Overall a fantastic place to just chill out or to enjoy a show

The building is artistic and uniquely beautiful!
Rather near the MRT station though have to walk a short distance and if during heavy raining days would be rather inconvenience as certain parts the rain waters would blow in with strong winds along the walkway and sometimes at some areas in the building.
Lots of eatery and various restaurant and even a food court and many shops around and even a good Japanese supermarket and a big supermarket at the ground level.
There are seats around at the ground level and even able to leisurely sit at the pretty staircases at the ground level which any young people and students love and enjoy when weather is good.
During not extrememely hot and warm days and especially night time it is very good to walk around the building which is no air conditioning and with natural airs!
As only when entering into the shops, eatery, restaurant and supermarkets and etc are with air conditioning.
If hazy days would be a disadvantage there.
On the whole this is a very beautifully design building with artistic structure !

Nice place to grab brunch/lunch/dinner at all price points. The only issue is that shopping wise, there are really few options but there is a $2 store that isn't Daiso where I spend hours. Also there is an Instax film vending machine on B1 that sells really cheap film of various sizes and designs!

I come here exclusively for the Aburi sushi which I feel they do better than most sushi chains. Sashimi quality is average.

Prices have been going up since they first opened. The good thing is that now they have enough outlets so you don't need to queue for hours!

Warning: Service is a little slow if you're trying to get a green tea refill, but food is served fast and the service staff are friendly.

Not too bad mall, built mainly to serve the church congregation in the building, food choices are okay but they're mainly on the mid price range. Environment and design is cozy and modern, and they have a huge atrium that is relaxing to just chill at.

Bought a whole chicken plus some wraps and had a great alfresco meal on the roof with my best friend. All at an affordable price too! There isn't much else to do than eat and talk here though in my opinion. Still, worth a visit nonetheless.

A open concept shopping mall with an integrated auditorium for performances upstairs. It's open concept does away with air conditioning of the mall itself limiting it to shop interiors. A wide spread of eateries and retail shops. The building design is relatively unique.

Unless you are a church goer the Star Vista doesn't have much to offer compared to the other cookie cutter malls dotting Singapore. What it does have plenty of are restaurants and eateries. Lots of choices to cater to your palates but you need to look at the joints on the outer part of the building. Japanese, Chinese, pizza, sandwiches... Like I said, lots of choices. There are a few niche shops too. Swee Lee sells musical instruments (contemporary music), teak furniture and a store selling frozen and fresh seafood which gets quite a bit of business from my family.

Nice shopping mall of sorts, mostly with great restaurants and some entertainment/shopping. There's a large supermarket as well. I really like how the mall is actually so conveniently located next to the MRT station, and that it caters to the needs of surrounding users - mostly businesses and corporates, with some levels of home goers. It's not the perfect mall when it comes to walking around, and the variety is probably something you can find elsewhere in another mall; but it's good enough.

Was the first eco-friendly shopping centre of its kind. There's a Hot Tomato outlet, karaoke, awesome western food outlets like Boston Seafood Shack (must try) and Manhattan Fish Market. There's also a proper Vietnamese restaurant with my favourite Wrap and Roll not to mention the Pho. Guzman Y Gomez is also here and Morgan's (their ribs are the melt in your mouth kind). You'll find there's plenty to choose from at The Star Vista be it desserts main course or entrees. There's also a free kickboxing session every Monday evening :)

Frequently visited by people working around the area for food. Hawker centre is not so nice, but the rest of the restaurants are of better quality. Only gripe is the mall's open air concept - while it makes for a modern look, Singapore's weather means you'll often be sweating just walking around.

Food food food everywhere all kinds all prices. Steer clear of the hawkers area on top level. Really bland food. Sad to see Blackball leave this spot. The Mexican joint is pretty good. It ain't LA standards but the tacos are pretty real. Cedele here is great and convenient stores like the K fish mart and tiny Cold Storage do bring in the crowds. Strange climate "controlled" outdoor air thing, no AC.
