The hotel is clean. Near to everywhere. Food is same. Unfortunately the wifi password must changes everyday

We have been charged $30 (400.000 IDR) for a small amount amount of laundry. This is the same cost as the room, and ten times the average rate for laundry in Indonesia. The receptionist justified it by pointing to an itemised bill, but we were not told how much the laundry would cost per item before handing it in.
When I asked to speak to the manager to complain I was first told he was asleep. When I asked for his email address, the receptionist rang someone. When I asked who she rang she wouldn't tell me, but said the manager couldn't speak because he was praying with his family. Eventually she told me that it was, in fact, her manager who was on the phone, but refused to call him back so I could speak to him.
The Orchid Hotel has ripped us off and treated our request to complain with contempt.response / report this review -
