Fantastic.. can not rate this hotel enough! Friendly, helpful and caring staff who it seems can not help you enough.
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms (Lani's) are so spacious. Everything and more that you need is there.
Every communal area is immaculate and they really add those touches of luxury in all areas.
We were bed and breakfast and I can say the quality of the food was consistently great with a large choice.
Entertainment each night and a leaflet left nightly at turndown service to tell you what it will be.
The pool area has everything you need, luxury towels, comfortable beds, a tray which contains face mist, sun cream, cold towels and an endless supply of cold bottled water.
The hotel is well positioned in Seminyak and offers daily shuttle services (not that you need it you can walk to good restaurants and bars).
I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Bali we loved it 😃

Fantastic hotel! Staying in February, we initially had some issues upon checking in. However, the staff and management could not have been more accommodating and willing in addressing and resolving these. It truly is an amazing place to stay - brilliant friendly staff, outstanding food and service, and the best location in Bali. Don't hesitate to go!

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. The only downside is out of season, as we've stayed here twice, when they aren't at full occupancy (only having 14 rooms filled and increasing to 32 at the end of the week) they don't hold the special dinners like the buffets on Saturdays or Thursdays, like they do in high season, which is a shame for the guests that stay as the room prices are similar.

Puzzled by the 1-2 bad reviews here! Are you sure you stayed at the same resort?? This resort is amazing! If you want pure relaxation with lots of space, peace and quiet topped off with excellent service, hospitality and food then come here!! Definitely one of my all time top 3 hotels in the World. Only 74 rooms here so you hardly see any other guests about and it feels like you are in your own private resortAmazing! I will be back.

It is still the best hotel in Seminyak. The service is impeccable. It is quiet and a wonderful place to relax. I've been about 5 times and never had bad service. It is in a great location with easy access to all the great restaurants and shops in Seminyak.

Dear John and all your wonderful staff at the Oberoi its taken a few days to adjust but just wanted to say how fabulous our stay with you was. Stunning food by Chef Enrico we got to sample much of his amazing fare.

The staff where so friendly, efficient and just the right amount of help, I have to say in conclusion we will be back ! and the fact that you have retained this wonderful old site filled with beautiful ponds, temples and the real culture of Bali made all the difference, Highly recommend and then some!!

Very old building. Only two categories. Tiny bungalows or villas that aren't much bigger, with garden, garden/pool. No buffet breakfast. Only one restaurant. Great location. Acceptable service. Nothing special

Comfortable rooms, perfect SPA and excellent food in the restaurant facing the sea.
Friendly and hospitable staff anticipating each of your wish. Very private, quite and relaxing atmosphere in the middle of busy touristic place.

Unfortunately horrible experience here. Our first room smelled like rotting pond water so they moved us to a different villa on the other side of the resort. That room was nicer but had a broken AC that caused the room to be so humid that the ceiling was literally dripping wet; so much so that I almost slipped and fell on the stone tiles. It is an old hotel and it shows - they could use some major upgrades - not at all what you would expect for a $600/night place in Bali. That ordeal was enough so we packed our things and moved to a different resort the same night we arrived.

To their credit, that staff was exceptionally courteous and accommodating, which is what earns this two stars.

Absolutely loved our experience at the Oberoi Bali from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Extremely hospitable and welcoming staff and the services/food/accomodations were wonderful! The bathrooms were really cool with an outdoor sealed off area! Would highly recommend staying here. Nice relaxing open area in a very congested and busy part of the island!
