I had a great experienced during my stay at Alana Solo. Since landed in Airport, pick up service was there with AC car already turn on, welcome drink and cool towel, very fast check in procedure, nice clean and spacious room, breakfast with many variety and very tasty, beautiful ballroom, great service from all staff. Well done Alana Solo team..

Beautiful hotel, great service, comfiest bedroom. Arcadia Ballroom is huge. The staff really have true hospitality and deliver what's Solo beauty with their services and appearance. Good Job !

Stay here for 2 nights. Breakfast is good. Room is clean. They have a swimming pool on 2nd floor with beautiful view.

Comfort place for you to rest. This hotel serve so good with many facilities in various price. You also can make a meeting, bridal marriage party, brithday party and so on in here. This place is very easy to find. Enjoy it.

I only stay a night at t Solo Alana Hotel. However I've great impression and enjoyed to have one nith here.
I'd like to recommend you choose The Alana Hotel if you will have a trip to Solo and will stay at a hotel.
The hotel also closed to the airport and very comfortable for take rest for couple days.

Bathroom towels need more attention. Breakfast hot dishes menu need a review from management with regards to combination and taste. Staff are all very helpful. So need management level improvement.

Amazing place, huge bed (really cosy), bathroom size huge. The downside is breakfast, no sausages and pasta was cold. Everything else is amazing! Worth every penny.

located 3km from solo, 4 star hotel in group of Aston, a very quiet place, very friendly crew greets, readily helps crew, Best tasteful F&B, there are children Swimming pool area, and adult for relaxing. HIgh class, luxurious and expensive hotel

The room is clean, bed is comfortable. There are no big building that blocked the view so it's great. But the only problem is the bathroom because we can see inside it. The wall is just the glass. There are roller blind that blocked the view. But we can still see it from the gap of roller blind. But still, the hotel is nice anyway.

Room
Big comfy room with high quality spring bed and rebounded latex topper. Pillows were high quality dacron (I think) with nice fluffiness! Bathroom were spacious with great hot water shower. Good complete amenities were available.

Coffee shop
Great breakfast! One of the best I've for several reasons:
- they serve black and green olives on the plate, I didn't have to ask the staffs!
- they have salted butter!
- they serve jamu(traditional Javanese herbal drinks) and local angkringan cuisine with great taste!
- my spouse were looking for peanut butter, when one the the waitress offered us a peanut butter kindly!
- they serve different style of food and ambience everyday throughout the week!
- egg corner, pastry corner, noodle corner, many kinds of "bubur" (Indonesian style porridge), salad corner, they have it all!

Facilities
Rather large pool on third (I think) floor and a small jacuzzi pool. Large nice lobby with spacious lounge. Didn't check out the gym though.

Hospitality
They have few very great staffs, and the rest are good with very few annoying (judgemental) ones..

Overall
One of the best getaway place for a couple of days! Definitely will come back again!

Room is okay and cozy.
But in the other hand.. The air conditioner quality in the ballroom, is quite hot. In a big occasion that makes guests uncomfortable.
The elevators also took a some time to wait. And it's also hot inside.
This is not supposed to be when your hotel is new and quite a big one in Solo/Surakarta area.

After our road trip around East Java we spent a few days in The Alana Solo Hotel in Central Java before heading home. We now understand why it’s a popular favourite. As it was our first time there we made sure to stay in one of the city’s most traditional areas and so The Alana Solo Hotel, was the perfect location for business and leisure.
