No 3 best airport in Indonesia after Jambi and Soets. This airport have 12 gate where a lot of souvenir, food stals, coffee shop, executive waiting room, mushola, and massage stals. You can spend a lot of time here 😊😊

Terminal 1A Bandara Juanda looks a bit old airport. This airport is located in Sidoarjo City. Mostly, this airport serves domestic travel. The airline that serves here are citilink, airfast, batik air (Dep). There are some outlet that sell food, merchandize etc.

Terminal 1A is a bit old and need some renew atmospehere,
✅ easy to navigate because its not too big,
✅ have eskalator, if you just too tired or to lazy to walk
.
but some parts need improvement
⛔️ many telephone coin, 2018 with telepohone coin, i think its just there with no function

This airport serves mostly for domestic flights with citilink, lion air, and sriwijaya air. Buildings looks old, dark in lighting, not modern in the interior and the decoration, needs a lot more check in desks to accomodate that many passengers.

Some eatery are available nearby the waiting room. One of local famous food Bakso Pak Djo, gloria jeans for the cafe, rotiboy for take away, and there is a Periplus kiosk as well.

I don't think this is a nice place to wait for more than 2 hours. Just make sure to do the web check in, then come as close to the departure time as possible.

Not really good airport. Waiting room is too small and overcrowded.. Lot of flight get delayed.. Make sure to choose Garuda airlines to avoid delays

This airport terminal are out of capacity. When entered waiting room, there were lot of passenger standing around the waiting room because lack number of seat there.

One of the two terminals of Surabaya's Juanda. Terminal 1A serves mainly Citilink and Batik Air (departure only) flights. Other airlines are served on the another end of the terminal, Terminal 1B. Can be less crowded than 1B, at least on the public area. Not many good dining option available. The terminal building itself is dark and not very clean. This is very different from years ago when Juanda was best known for its cleanliness and attention to details. I've arrived in Citilink flights for several times at this terminal. Instead of using the aerobridges, passengers were led to a service corridor to baggage claim area that was poorly prepared to be used by passengers by placing some plants in pots along the corridor. Not really a good way to welcome passengers to Surabaya.

It's mostly for domestic routes. The airport is quite new and complete facilities. The taxi fare is quite expensive here.

Actually simple airport, not too small and not too big. This airport have 2 terminal that is separated by runway. Almost all domestic departure located at Terminal 1. All domestic departure of Garuda Indonesia, Air Asia and all international departure are served by Terminal 2. There are shuttle bus to move from T1 to T2 with approx journey 20 minutes
