Excellent place. Rooms are very clean and well equipped. Good food, wonderful staff, and great views of the rice fields in the surrounding area. A nice touch is that despite being in the middle of the hustle and bustle, it's situated as to provide a seemingly private and remote experience.

Quite cozy hotel tucked away from the road that makes you feel like you're relaxing in the rice fields. Rooms are not luxurious, but they're clean and comfortable. Have been here once and am returning!

Very chill and quiet place amidst the hustle and bustle in Ubud. Service staff are very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here if they go to Ubud.

Great place with pools,super friendly staff and various rooms,comfy beds,all very clean. Great food from Warung Semesta can be ordered by the pool without any extra charge and taste delicious. Try special "tower" room :)

Service here is sincere. Love Nyalian rooms the best but for $25/night the twin superior was more than adequateclean, safe, friendly, good aircon, hot waterso much attention on training staff, many have worked here for over ten years

The best value for money hotel in Ubud. The service is spectacular! This hotel should be at least a 3 star, not a 2 star. They have rooms to suit every budget. The staff are attentive, friendly, helpful and always serving you with a smile. Their complimentary local shuttle service is such an added bonus and truly make this hotel superb.

Who gave this place a 2 star rating! It is freakin' amazing. We have our own villa with a pool for a price that would get you a dump in Brussels, London and Paris. Everyone is super nice and friendly and we feel spoilt. Fantastic! Also we have an outdoor massage deck, a gazebo, a small kitchen, outdoor shower and a bath-pure luxury! They have cheaper options in the house too so overall great and a fab location near the Monkey forest and lots of shops and restaurants.

Spacious rooms, clean cr, bath tub, 2 bedrooms, garden view, car service and much for only $50.

They also have friendly staff and the location is great if you want to explore Bali.

I have a very nice stay. Will be back.

Visit in early 2015. Got one of the older rooms (maybe #1 or 2?!). Ground Floor. View over Rice Paddy. Oldschool decor. Simple but Clean bathroom. Good beds. Affordable at around 20$ for the Double if i remember correctly.

If you like small, umpretentious and simple ameneties, this is the place for you. The service is attentive and friendly. The only downside is the small pools without much sun exposure.

Magical place ! We stayed 3 nights in this beautiful hostel and everything was perfect. The staff is very helpful and kind, a private driver is available anytime to pick you up and drop you off in Ubud (for free). The super deluxe room and the super deluxe wooden room were perfect (very clean, large and comfortable bed, nice view, very calm).
The breakfast is not included but except this, Tegal Sari is an excellent value for money regarding the location in Ubud and the accommodations ! We recommend for sure !

Eco friendly hotel in Ubud. All the rooms are far from the noisy roads and are very quiet. The view on the rice fields is very nice. 2 swimming pools, and an organic restaurant.

Very nice hotel for a really good price. Even if the entrance is located close to the busy roads of Ubud, the charming rooms lay in the middle of rice fields and are very quiet. The frogs will wish you a good night and you'll be woken up by the nice sound of birds :) Staff is very helpful and friendly.

This is the best accommodation in Ubud. The staff are friendly, obliging and helpful. The rooms are fabulous with great views of the rice fields. The restaurants have yum food and the breakfasts are all you could ask for and very reasonably priced. The location is great - near the monkey forest, shopping and cafes and if you want to go elsewhere the staff are more than happy to give you a lift and pick you up. The pool was refreshing everyday. We loved this place and will definitely stay again.

This place is absolutely lovely. Tucked away from the crowds of Ubud Palace, but transport to town is available almost round the clock. The staff are amazingly patient and sensitive to clients' needs. I felt very safe round the clock. They have a little cafe called Semeste just outside the backdoor and it's delicious wholesome food. I love the unobstructed view of the rice fields and would definitely want to go back to Tegal Sari again. Highly highly recommended!
