Good place to get a good cup of local coffee, and hang around to see locals go about their daily life. The wet market is small but supplies good range of fresh food.

An old friendly estate. Likes he he place for its warmth. There is a cake shop where I bought a brownie cake. Cut into 8 slices n it tastes good. Run by a young couple.
I like the place where I can get my vegetables at late evening in the market stall. The only market place that I know I can browse n pick my veg. The owner packs her vegetables in brown hugh paper bag and you literally sometimes have to ask her where she packs her vegetables. I see many people from.the oil n marine industry where they buy in bulk to cook for the ship mates!

This is undoubtedly a 70s place. Time stood still. Not just the rough and tough blue-collar patrons but the whole look-and-feel. The hawkers. The food . And the smell. You need a hair wash and shower immediately afterwards. So....forget it

Small food center with limited seats and parking lots. Quite a number of good food stalls with inexpensive price. Place seen better times, clean and tidy generally.

Small hawker centre, limited stalls of really good food only cater to morning & lunch crowd.
After 1400 there is not much choices of food stalls to choose.
Also limited parking slots unless one park further away a little bit...
Not much choices of shops around....

Cheap and nice food. Love the tau suan (green bean dessert) and you tiao (fried dough) for breakfast. Love the chicken rice stall and fresh coconut from the 24hrs fruit stalls here.

This is a good place for foods and drinks. You can get it in cheap and reasonable price. On top of that, there are some shops nearby the food center, which is convenient to people.

Best to visit in morning and early afternoon. Selection of stalls smaller than other/the typical food centre. A little dirtier than the standard hawker centre as well.
